Review: Mon. 8/26/13 about 8:20AM my wife dropped off (3) pairs of pants & pre-paid to have the pants dry cleaned and ready for pick-up the same day. At that time my wife & the employee, [redacted], examined the pants for any spots that needed to be pre-treated. Both my wife & the employee looked at the pants from top to bottom & noticed one spot on the front of the gray pants & the employee, [redacted], marked the spot for pre-treatment. I ([redacted]) returned to pick up the pants on the next morning (8/27/13) at approximately 8:00am. At that time [redacted] explained that she did not clean the pants because there was a rip at the bottom & a brownish burn mark. As I previously stated my wife & the [redacted] examined the pants when they were dropped off & there were no such marks on the pants with the exception of the spot on the top front of the gray pants. Since I was in route to work I did not hav time to debate with the employee at that time. I returned to the cleaners, with my wife, that evening to further discuss the issue. The owner ([redacted]) was there & the employee had gone for the day. My wife & I explained to the owner ([redacted]) that neither the stain nor the rip was there when they were dropped off & her employee & my wife had examined the pants prior to my wife leaving the cleaners on the morning of August 26. **. [redacted] claimed she had to hear the employee's side of the story & would get back to me the next morning. I did not hear from **. [redacted] rather she had the employee call me to explain her side of which she had already done so on the morning when I picked up the pants. My wife then called later on that same day & spoke with **. [redacted] & she basically stated in so many words she believed her employee. I bring all of my suits to this cleaner & have never been more insulted & disappointed than this visit. The rip & burn mark was clearly a mark from something in the cleaners being too hot for the material & it burned & ripped the pants. Furthermore, **. [redacted] stated that the pants never went to the back of the store (where cleaning is done) but the spot that was identified by my wife & the employee was no longer there so some form of cleaning had been done to the pants.Desired Settlement: **. [redacted] offered me $20.00 for a pair of pants I purchased on sale for $85.00 on July 6. I've had the pants for only 7 weeks. I am asking for at least 75% of my cost($63.75)
