Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I appreciate the prompt response to the Revdex.com complaint on behalf of the companyHowever, I still am not satisfied with the response because it does not address the issue at hand First, the person who replied to this (an assistant manager that did not give his or her name to be contacted, just a phone number) said that the price listed online is the cash price plus feesThis is exactly what I was planning to do with this car purchase: issue the company a certified cashiers check for the full amount of the list price of the vehicle ($22,499) plus all fees and taxes associated with the purchaseI was not interested in financing the vehicle and therefore I do not understand why he or she noted in the response that "For financing add 35% of the asking price to guarantee approval." I was not requesting financing for this purchaseI wanted to pay cash Towns has since updated the price of the vehicle online, but I have attached the pdf file of the same vehicle that was listed online when I was interested in purchasing it on November ***Further, the assistant manager's response seems to indicate that managers are willing to speak with potential customersThis was not the cash last week when I wanted to purchase the vehicleWhen I called on several occasions, I was told that managers were not available and would call me backThat never happenedI would also make the assumption that a manager responding to a complaint like this would be willing to give his or her name, not just a call back number My name is [redacted] and I can be reached at ###-###-#### In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I appreciate the prompt response to the Revdex.com complaint on behalf of the company. However, I still am not satisfied with the response because it does not address the issue at hand. First, the person who replied to this (an assistant manager that did not give his or her name to be contacted, just a phone number) said that the price listed online is the cash price plus fees. This is exactly what I was planning to do with this car purchase: issue the company a certified cashiers check for the full amount of the list price of the vehicle ($22,499) plus all normal fees and taxes associated with the purchase. I was not interested in financing the vehicle and therefore I do not understand why he or she noted in the response that "For financing add 35% of the asking price to guarantee approval." I was not requesting financing for this purchase. I wanted to pay cash. 5 Towns has since updated the price of the vehicle online, but I have attached the pdf file of the same vehicle that was listed online when I was interested in purchasing it on November [redacted]. Further, the assistant manager's response seems to indicate that managers are willing to speak with potential customers. This was not the cash last week when I wanted to purchase the vehicle. When I called on several occasions, I was told that managers were not available and would call me back. That never happened. I would also make the assumption that a manager responding to a complaint like this would be willing to give his or her name, not just a call back number. My name is [redacted] and I can be reached at ###-###-####.

Horrible service. Fake pricing, a guy named Mark very disrespectful. He claims to be the owner. He tells me that the price of the car is 30% more then the price on line. So a 10000 dollar car goes to almost 20000. Wasted my whole day.. stay away from this place. These guys are crooks.

Sorry for the misunderstanding with [redacted] and our sales associate. The prices online is the cash price plus fees. For financing add 35% of the asking price to guarantee approval. Once again we apologize for the inconvenience. For any questions please call me the assistant manager directly....

[redacted] showed interest in purchasing a used silver 2012 Mercedes-Benz C350 in November 2016.  He submitted a credit application online and was...

approved by Credit Acceptance Corporation for a finance plan. The retail sale price of the vehicle was always $19,350.00.  [redacted] signed a Retail Purchase Agreement which stated the cash price of the vehicle is $19,350.00.  He also signed a Retail Certificate of Sale indicating the selling price is $19,350.00. The amount [redacted] thinks was the original price, $11,995.00, was actually the finance amount. At the time, 5 Towns Drive was offering a promotion for the vehicle for a guaranteed finance amount of $11,995.00 if the customer paid a down payment of $7,350.00.  The finance amount and down payment amount to $19,350.00, the price of the vehicle. [redacted] had a 30-day warranty for the mechanics of the car, as required by law.  He also purchased an extended 2 year warranty for $2,245.00, as shown in the signed Retail Purchase Agreement.  This warranty covers the mechanics and electronics of the vehicle.  On November [redacted] came to 5 Towns Drive from his home in West Monroe, Louisiana to pick up the vehicle.  The day before, the dealership had the car serviced at a mechanic’s shop across the street.  The mechanic performed a complete mechanic check-up inspecting the mechanics, oil, and battery.  Based on the results of the mechanic’s check-up from the day before, 5 Towns Drive had no reason to believe there were any problems.  It was in proper working condition. There were no issues with the vehicle when [redacted] showed up on November [redacted]  He took it for a test drive and inspected it and never made any complaints.  The Finance Manager sat down with [redacted] to discuss payment. [redacted] paid $2,000.00 on his debit card and $1,500.00 via check while in New York.  He indicated he was unable to make the $7,350.00 down payment which was part of the promotion.   Before [redacted] made the trip up to New York, an employee from 5 Towns Drive texted him with the monthly payment terms for the vehicle.  [redacted] left the dealership with the vehicle and began his drive home to Louisiana.  A couple hours into his trip, he called 5 Towns Drive complaining about the tire.  He stayed in New York for an extra night so 5 Towns Drive could have the tire fixed.  The dealership paid for him to stay in a hotel.  As for any future problems, [redacted] could have had the car fixed anywhere, not just New York, and his warranty still would have covered the costs.

I went to purchase a car listed at $10,993 in cash and when I got there the price jumped to $16,500. The add specifically says cash and financing price are the same. I think they wanted to force me to finance.
Don't go here!!!!!

I went to the dealer to look at a white bmw 335 coupe that I seen on the website. The car is retailed for more than kbb value.
The sales man didn't want me to test drive car but then I spoke to a manager and he gave the ok. I drove the car and I can tell the turbo is blown and they didn't want to fix it so I left. How can you sell a lemon to someone that's willing to spend money at your place of business. They didn't want to help all they wanted me to do was fill out paper work and wouldn't listen. I should of listened to the [redacted] reviews because the are a shady dealer ship.
