What a mistake
A simple entire floor carpet install by two interior demolitionists. They destroyed a 6-foot aluminum ladder of mine (not used in install); snipped my cable tv cable off at the wall; left three gaping seems in the carpeting; left blocks of staples all over; so much carpet debris that I'm STILL vacuuming it up; and the carpeting that wrapped around the top landing step looks like it was hacked at with a machete. You know, I got a manager or two who sounded like they might actually have a concern about my complaints, but as I sit waiting for the carpet to be repaired...two months later...I realize I was wrong. Now I'm playing with the idea of writing this one up as a serious lack of judgment on my part and having the entire mess ripped out and using a reputable company for the new install. You've been warned! No stars!

Bathroom floor project
I would never use 50 Floors again after our experience. If you have a bathroom floor project which involves removing and resetting your toilet, go to someone else who has a reputable plumber reset your toilet or you could end up with a leaking toilet and a damaged new floor. 50 Floors was irresponsible and unwilling to repair the damage they caused. We had to hire a restoration company to run Industrial size HEPA Filters for a week to air out the water damage, tear out the sub flooring and then hire a contracting company to replace damaged cabinet and install another new floor. It was a long nightmare and put us back financially. Go somewhere else for bathroom floor projects.

Poor customer experience & service
Used the online form to request a appointment for a quote, got a 3 hour window from 9-11 in the morning in 2 days.
got two confirmation emails the 2 days before the appointment.

after calling twice & texting a room floor plan with the measurements, I get a call to reschedule the appointment 5 minutes before the window ended.
if they cant even make their appointment & won't answer the phone why should I do business with them?

a Unhappy Customer experience Professional with 10+ years.

Whe I bought my condo I knew I wanted new flooring I heard the ad on the radio and thought I would contact them and see what I thought Jared was my sales rep and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and got me every discount possible I went with a beautiful laminate flooring which was scratch proof, fade proof and water proof as well The installers did a great job and finished my living room and dining room in one day I had not moved in yet so there was not much clean up except for some very light dust I had a lot more when I had my windows replaced!!! In short, I was very pleased with their work and the price We even had them do the elevator floors in our building after another company did a very poor job I would not hesitate to use them again

I called floor to install some flooring after seeing their ad on TVBig mistakeThey installed the wrong flooring (!) and refused to issue a refund after multiple requests, even to the CEOThey ask upfront for 50% of the cost (which I now know is a ridiculous figure) so that they cannot be held accountable for the workThe 50% seems to be all they hope for, and then they move on to the next unfortunate customerSince that time I watched a video published by the NC attorney general advising against down payments for such workBelow is a more detailed account of (some of) my experiences with Floor: Our suspicions of being charged for excess material quantity were confirmed when the merchant generated the itemization on 9/for American Express (not us directly)The total of the itemized charges ($7,302.03) differs from the original purchase order of $7,which was filled out by the salesmanThe itemization was generated retroactively in a rush to fulfill a request by American ExpressWe were told that we would receive this document after signing the purchase order, but it was never provided, despite multiple requests over the phone and in writingHad we known, we would not have agreed to the excessive material quantities and unit costsOn the itemization, the merchant showed charges for square feet (SF) of materialThe merchant's own measurements show only SF, which disagrees with the quantity ordered and billedThe SF also does not account for the saved material due to the cabinets, fireplace, and sink areaUpon checking the merchant's measurements and accounting for these simple adjustments, the correct area is SFThe merchant overcharged us by SF (35% extra), valued at $at their rate of $5.246/SF for vinyl flooringThe installers left a surplus of SF of material and took the rest with themOf course, these overcharges are secondary to our main concern that the material is not the type we requested in the first place The itemization we received via second hand news shows that the merchant also overcharged in quantity for the carpeting (SY, 17% overcharge) and carpet padding (SY, 12.5% overcharge) when compared with their original measurements of square yards (SY)This was confirmed by the excess material the installers hauled away on 7/24, when they reported they had enough extra material to cover an additional stairway but we declined their offer to do so since we did not know how much the charges would beThe excess carpet material is valued at $according to their rate of $per SY, and the excess padding material is valued at $according to their rate of $per SYThe merchant's own measurements do not agree with the quantities they ordered and billed us forThe merchant has refused our requests for a refund for the incorrect material, which according to their itemization was $2,The merchant also refuses refund for the overcharge in material quantity of $1,as outlined above ($for the basement and $for upstairs) The merchant has lied to American Express that we inspected the material before installationOn arrival the installers immediately began preparing the floor and when we checked back with them later we found they were in the process of installing the wrong productWe immediately called the merchant, but as it was Saturday the representative told us to call back on MondayWhen I called on Monday, I spoke with General Manager [redacted] who told me he couldn't help me (he said he was preparing for filming a TV commercial!)We formulated our refund request to the merchant in writing, also requesting an itemization of the charges since we were billed for excess materialWe followed up with additional letters with the same requestsIn response, the merchant refused to provide us with a refund or an itemized list of charges The merchant has lied to American Express by attempting to use the Certificate of Completion for the carpet installation as proof of our satisfaction with the flooring installation two days laterWe signed this document only because the earlier installers required it before they left, and we were told that we would be presented another form for the flooring installation two days later, which was never presented and we would not have signedOur copy of the document is missing the installer's signature since it was added later and backdated in the version sent to American ExpressAlso note that page 2, which was omitted from the merchant's submission to American Express, reveals that the section "Product Verification" was not signed by us I recommend you do not hire Floor for any job, and heed the NC Attorney General's advice not to provide down payments for this type of work

DO NOT USE FLOOR! Their sales tactics are deceiving and their customer service is awfulThe first subcontractor to come out, had no work order for our job, had to barrow tools from us, and took notes on a piece of flooring he ripped up from our homeThey also had to reschedule the install date, due to that incompetent installer, which caused me to lose work The warranty is only through the manufacture, not Floor, as stated in the sales pitchThey ONLY use subcontractorsBEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Do not use this business thy have workman that dont know what they are doing

Back in November I had a very bad experience with the Nashville locationWe had contacted the Nashville office on several occasions for more than months with no results in getting our situation resolvedI entered a complaint in January on the Floor website and within hours of entering the complaint Queenie R*** from the Atlanta office had contacted me regarding the situationMsR*** took charge of the situation immediately! After listening to my problem, I sent pictures so she could see and better understand my complaintShe contacted the Nashville office and worked with them to get the issue resolvedShe went above and beyond to get this situation resolvedTo me, she is an Outstanding Performer in Customer Relationship ManagementBecause of her and her efforts, my husband and I are happy customers

I am giving 5 STARS to 50Floor for how they did my flooring job and how they treated me as a customer. Here's why. I purchased from and had a sheet goods floor installed by them. The salesman was very nice and not hard-sell, which I appreciated. The installation department verified the appointment the day before and the crew arrived right on time. Drew and Miguel explained the process to me and how long it would take. Drew noticed that my quote had said 3 sheets of luan to even out the laundry room floor, but since that floor was concrete, the job could not be done that way. He refigured the job to add 5 more pieces of luan because all 8 needed to be put in the kitchen for a smooth end product, told me they would take up the existing tiles in the laundry room and put down product to even it, and recalculated the time and price. The job total came to $175 more than I was ltold by the salesman. I am redoing an entire house, so more money to be spent was an unhappy surprise. I called the installation department, I verified that the crew had explained everything correctly, and, after consultation with the General Manager, the installation department made things right. They did not charge me the extra $175; however they will be reimbursing the install team for the extra luan. Practicing this sort of business ethics will always cause me to give an excellent review and referral. [redacted]

DO NOT USE 50 FLOOR! Their sales tactics are deceiving and their customer service is awful. The first subcontractor to come out, had no idea about that job, had to barrow tools from us, and took notes on a piece of flooring he ripped up from our home. They also had to reschedule the install date and cause loss of work.
The warranty is only through the manufacture, not 50 Floor, as stated in the sales pitch. They ONLY use subcontractors. BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I purchased carpet for 3 room, 1 hall and step in October 2015. The carpet was not laid appropriately, the carpet in the master bedroom needs to be stretched. Also, the padding is very low quality. If I had to do it again, I would not make a purchase again.

I used them twice and had a great experience both times. Very accommodating to my availability. Very happy with salesmen who really explained pricing and installation crews were wonderful. They knew where to replace my furniture better than I did. Thank you

I had a very professional and positive experience with this company from start to finish. In addition, I had an small issue that I brought to their attention and to their credit they investigated and re-did the complete kitchen tile floor.

I was impressed with the flexibility and timeliness of the projects and the customer service staff. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Very disappointed in 50Floor. The salesman advised us to put sand and seal floors in our foyer to get the best color match with existing floors in living room, dining room, and hallway. Unfortunately, the other hardwoods were the pre-finished floors. Said they would feather New floors into old floors. No can do, two different types off flooring. Charged $250 more for that and it never happened, nor did we get a credit on our bill. You should be able to trust your salesmans advise. Wrong! he also checked our stairway, told us there was not hardwood under carpet. So, we decided to replace carpet. Guess what? When installers came, ripped up carpet, found white oak on all the steps. would have finished hardwoods and put decorative runner on them. We called the company three times and sales manager has never called back. Poor customer service! Will not recommend this company to anyone. Only positive was installers did good job. Shame on 50 Floor.

I had a very good experience with 50 Floor. My sales rep, Jared, was extremely knowledgeable and sincerely concerned that I got
what I wanted and at the very best price. He was sensitive to my budget! The day of the installation the two installers (I had not moved
in yet) did a beautiful job with the flooring and were able to do it in one day as they had indicated. I am sure it helped that there
was no furniture to be moved, but they did have to tear up the carpet.

The floor looks beautiful and is easy to maintain. The fact that it looks so good and is fade proof, scratch proof, and water proof is
a big relief. There was dust on the counter tops but if I had thought about it I would have covered as much as I could, but it wasn't
excessive. Easy because there was no furniture to worry about.

In short, I would highly recommend 50 Floor for the quality of their product and their service.
