U must follow the company return policy for a complete refundNo one is scamming anyone all I need is it to be returned in same condition as it was recieved, if not there will be a 20% restock feeAttached is a letter from *** *** showing that the piston were built to and above manufacture specs per customers order requirements. The pistons we supplied to you for the liter engine were based on the sample OEM “flat top” pistonPer your instructions we increased the compression in the “normal” manner by adding a raised dome of approximately cc’s net and in the next available bore size that rings were manufactured forPer our discussion it should have resulted in an approximate compression ratio of to 10.6 range on a blueprinted to factory specifications engine. The piston we made exceeds the factory specification for compression ratio on the production engine and is the next overbore size as you requested. I am rejecting this response because:I did not get any warranty paperwork All of our business was transacted over the phone I even asked repeatedly about the warranty, and they said just call back is anything happens My engine came with one piece of paper detailing the break in cycle and not a single other piece I had to call back repeatedly just to figure out what engine they actually sent while troubleshooting the numerous problems I came across Accepting the engine damaged was a huge mistake I made I was eager to get the engine in jeep My whole point of bringing up the shipping damage was to worn future customers how little care they put into their shipping Our shop receives multiple engines a month and none were ever close to being packaged like that Once again, zip tied to a crate Nothing to hold it upright Nothing to protect it at all from things falling on it Also ports left open with no covers to outside environmentNot asking for anything on this aspect Just informing Secondly, if you look at the last email you can see how clearly pays attention to their customers I have stated clearly in the previous two emails that nothing is wrong with the programming deviceI stated that the actual program being uploaded by his technician of choice is a faulty program from someone who clearly does not fully understand the jeep computers I do not want a new programmer cause mine works just fine I want the money charged for the programmer and the technicians program installed refunded I gave the technician numerous tries and tons of my time to get this right and he never succeededReading the reviews online I am clearly not the only one I also want the headers refunded I have spent numerous hours getting this engine installed I ordered an engine that was supposed to just drop in and bolt things on with no modifications required by me This did not come close to happening. I can not use the programmer or the programming services I can not use the header Both due to quality issues with them I have decided after wasting hours of my time to just go without them because the time invested in continuing to try to make the faulty items work is becoming too much I see no reason I should have to pay for a faulty item I do not want an exchange as I have no interest in conducting any sort of business with again. The way they conduct themselves has driven me away as a customer for life I said from beginning I did not know much about engine installs and when I called back they were very condescending They said everything they needed to say to get the original sale then completely changed their toneTo summarize my problems one more time:Engine was two weeks late to begin with, and they were not forthcoming during the process and told me it shipped twice when it had notThe parts to complete the engine came three weeks after that, so I could not begin the install anyway.Engine was not prepared in a standard manner for protection during shippingHeader did not line up and I had to re-plane itProgrammer technician failed to get an acceptable tune after many attemptsGeneral lack of disregard from the company when dealing with all these issues that have had my vehicle sidelined for months

The customer refuses to follow the instructions for return, the product meets or exceeds manufactures guidelines, does have a manufacture compression ratio of to which was required, is the first overbore size, was recieved hours earlier than anticipated and signed for in good condition
The customer was unhappy and wanted more compression, we did authorize a return but specified must be in orginal box with orginal paper work and in same condition as when it arrivedThe customer lost the box and the paperwork, and is upset becouse we want to charge a percent restock feeWe cannt resale as new if the product is not in a new box with proper peperwork

I am rejecting this response because: I sent pictures of the damaged engine and its poor packaging the day I received the engine. 505 performance offered me no help except to say sorry. I was in a hurry to get my jeep running to I installed the motor anyway hoping for the best after having to install a new oil pan and pickup line. 505 is well aware of the programmer issues documented by numerous emails and phone calls. The issue is not with the programmer itself. The issue is with the data being loaded to the programmer supplied by a third party through 505 performance. The actual coding being installed by the programmer is what is faulty. I have complained numerous times and this is the first I have heard of any warranty paperwork. It was never once suggested to me. The engine is still running fine from what I can tell mechanically. But because of the lack of acceptable engine programming the engine is running much too advanced and heating up the headers. I was assured my jeep cooling system could handle the new engine before I purchased it. My jeep cooling system is running fine it is just being overpowered by the new engine that creates much more heat then described.

I understand that anytime we are dealing with a warranty issue it can be a long and sometimes frustrating process.
We like to help our customers with issues and not just redirect them. Many companies with have customers go direct to the company that manufactured and is the warrantor of an item....
Our staff as a service to our customers try to work with the factories and our relationship to get to a resolve.
Our staff contacted the manufacture many times on this issue. We felt, because we no longer do business with them, we were having a hard time getting this handled for our customer by them.
At the end of May we were able to obtain the parts from the factory but received parts only. We had our warehouse manager go to the customers home and installed the parts received at no charge. After a second visit we now have this problem resolved for our customer.
Again it is hard when we are the middle man in a warranty situation. We are at the mercy of the factory but at the end of the day we try and help our customers and take the extra steps.
Thank you for your patients and business with big Bob's

I am rejecting this response because:As I mentioned in my report, the normal 4.7L Piston is flat head whereas the 4.7L HO Piston is domed. When you base the calculations on an inferior piston, you will get inferior results. The 4.7L HO Piston has a compression of 9.7:1 opposed the flat piston of the 4.7L which is on a 9.0:1 compression.I have received an email from the manufacturer ([redacted]) on the 17th of May claiming that the compression as 505 specified equal to 9.5:1 which is even lower than my stock pistons. Here is the email: From: [redacted] <[redacted]> Date: 17/05/2017 00:10 (GMT+04:00) To: [redacted] <[redacted]> Subject: RE: Pistons Number [redacted] [redacted] , The order from 505 is for 3.680 bore for sure not 3.690 . If the block is already bored this would NOT work. The piston would have .013 piston to wall Waaaay too much! The pin locks should be in the envelope which has the spec sheet and decals in it . If that envelope is missing , you need to contact 505 about it being missing. It was in the box when it left here. As far as compression ratio , I think it is 9.5 based on a 64cc chamber and a +4.2cc domed piston. I have to check your latest email. [redacted]Sales Manager[redacted]Phone: ###-###-#### Fax: ###-###-####" Again revert to the report I submitted in this regard, I did specify that I had a 4.7L HO engine during the email correspondence and payment. I also wanted ROSS pistons which I did not receive. From my point of view, 505 committed a mistake and I am paying for it. I refuse the deduction of the 20% restocking fee and I want a full refund.[redacted] agreed to send 505 the required box/wrapping for these pistons, all they have to do is simply put them inside this box.

First off we at 505 performance have never received the warranty card sighed returned from customer secondly the motor was never installed at a authorized installation center or authorize to be install were ever they had it installed. This general voids any warranty. The customer took it...
upon them self's to take to a shop of there choosing and have the work performed. 505 performance did issue the customer a credit after close review of the returned core a partial credit of $300 was issued see attached paperwork, the core had damaged crank cylinder head and no valve covers or the were broken. If the customer did have a damaged lifter then we would take the proper steps, return the damage lifter to our manufacture, they would determine the cause of failure then a, credit would be issued, this can take several weeks if not months, 505 performance never received any lifter or a email was never received or given to Mr [redacted] for a returned of merchandise. We cannt give any type of credit for something that was never recieved or returned for replacement. We have attached the check the core policy plus warranty paperwork.
TO: Revdex.comFrom: 505 PerformanceID#: [redacted]This customer ordered a camshaft kit. These kits are matched and cannot be partially returned. If full refund is requested then the complete kit must be returned. The customer states the fan kit is...
incorrect – simply return and a refund will be issued. The air intake was on backorder and 505 Performance has no control over that. The customer stated that he did not want to wait for the air intake so we will refund customer.
Just to let you know the matter with 505 performance has been resolved.

1. Customer needs to provide us with an invoice so we can look at what was ordered. We sell as many as 30 to 40 various engines a month. 2. All engines are sold as a "long block". We do not sell accessories nor do we advertise accessories. The customer must install...
their own water pump, intake manifold, headers, sensors, fuel injectors. These are complete long block assemblies. See attachment of screenshot from our website. No where do we advertise accessory package.3. Customer states that header did not fit properly - If this was the case the header should have been returned for a replacement header. See attached return policy. 505 Performance does not manufacture the header. If the part is defective, we will stand behind the manufacturer for replacement parts. The customer telling us 6 months after purchase does not help us to resolve the situation. 4. Customer states that his computer programmer is not working properly - again see attached return policy. If the programmer cannot communicate with the customer's ECM, it is not a problem with the programmer it is an issue within the ECM. All ECM units can be sent in to SCT to be tested for malfunctions. If the customer had followed the return policy procedures this too could have been addressed. 5. This customer complaining is about after-market products installed on our engine. The customer is not complaining about engine performance, engine function, or anything else related to the engine 505 Performance sold to him. He is stating that the engine is running warm and in many cases if the engine is not programmed properly for the upgraded performance products the motor could run warm because it is not running at optimal performance. 6. Warranty card was not filled out or returned. 505 Performance receives up to 200 emails a day and upwards of 5000 phone calls a month. It is very difficult to respond to someone who does not follow the proper warranty guidelines. See attached warranty.7. The customer can fill out the proper warranty paperwork and follow the return policy and we can help them process the computer programer and the header warranty with our partnering manufacturing companies. As a reminder those products were not made by 505 Performance therefore we have to follow their guidelines for warranty and returns. 8. Engine shipping - all engines are palletized, banded and shrink wrapped. See attached pictures. If something was damaged in shipping 505 Performance need to know right away and the customer must provide detailed photos to us in order to begin the claim process with our shipper.

Dear Revdex.com,This is Big Bob's Flooring Outlet's response to complaint ID # [redacted]:Big Bob's went out to measure Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]'s home on Wednesday, November 9th, and put together a quote on Thursday, November 10th. Admittedly, we made 2 mistakes on this...
quote. The first mistake we made was pressing an extra "1" in the square footage quantity for the take up and haul away of old carpet and padding, making the quantity read "11300" square feet instead of "1300" square feet. The customer, Mrs. [redacted], discovered this mistake when we printed the bid and we immediately corrected it. The second mistake was not found until Monday, November 14th, that the invoice did not have the installation charge for the Luxury Vinyl Plank, totaling an additional $1014. Our store manager reached out to the customer to make them aware of this second mistake. On the phone, the customer would not accept an additional charge, so we called them back later that evening, November 14th, to let them know that we would move forward with the installation at the agreed upon price that was paid in the store on November 10th. Upon further review, it was our opinion that based on social media posts and responses from the customer that no matter what we did going forward, good or bad, the customer would not be satisfied and would, as they did, publicize either way. We are a people business that believes in long term relationships. We did not believe this was going to be a good relationship and chose to end it by refunding 100% of the customer's money. As of 11/21/16, check #[redacted] in the amount of $3,974.50 was issued and mailed to: [redacted] and [redacted] St. Joseph, MO [redacted] Tell us why here...
Dear [redacted]. Revdex.com,
Kindly check the attached pdf file in relation to this case with 505.
If you need further clarifications to my claims, I have all supporting emails and links to prove it.
Thank you
The customer signed for the engine with the frieght company in good condition it was not signed for as damaged or returned. I do not own the shipping company or have control over it., If the engine was damaged when received they should have not takin possession of the engine. Secondly the customer had 15 days to send in there warranty paper work signed for with invoice and number mileage year model usage there is a list it is also on my website www.505performance.com.Third the customer can send back the sct flash programmer and we can send it in and have it inspected, if the device shows defective a new device can be either sent back to the customer or replaced with a new one. The sct computer programmer must be returned to our facility in phoenix arizona, with the purchase order or invoice # attached along with a brief description of the problem with the device.Last the customer has yet to provide any of the following items, NO invoice, or signed warranty, They clearly haven't followed any of the warranty policies, Third they signed for a shipment in good condition and they accepted it in good condition, we only have 20 days to enter a claim for damaged freight shipment. See Attached letter from fedex. After six monthe that window for damaged frieght has closed see fedex policy. At this point the absolute best thing we could do is have them return the sct flash computer programmer along with all the warranty paperwork and we could then inspect it for malfunction and either repair or replace the device, and return to customer. A refund is out of the question, and I demand that the Revdex.com drop this case as not one shred of evidence has been issued showing that we would not do everything in our part to help this customer, the motor is mechanically fine, the shipment was sighned for in good condition, and they are stated that the sct computer programmer is not working properly, yet they haven't returned it to have it inspected fixed or replaced. We have given the Revdex.com everything need to move forward, please drop the case have the customer send us the sct computer device so it can be checked , or fixed or replaced.Thank uzach s[redacted] owner
