Hello Revdex.com,
The latest updates in our system show that we send a different technician out to the site on March 14th where he fixed the problem to the customers satisfaction
The customer has not called us back since then to let us know of any problems
For these reasons
we believed the complaint to be resolved
In light of the pending complaint and in order to be certain, we have called the customer to confirm the problem is resolved, but he have not yet been able to reach him
If we find the customer still has a problem we will do our best to fix it

I am rejecting this response because:
In my complaint I am requesting a refund of $since I was charged for service calls and charged twice to rekey my dead bolt. A technician did come to house and rekeyed the lock but did not give me the refund I requested. I don't feel I should be charged for service calls since they were unable to fix the dead bolt the first time I called them. I definitely should not be charged twice for rekeying a lock one time. I have returned there calls yesterday and today so seems we are playing phone tag

All of our dispatchers are trained to be very explicit regarding the prices they give; they are starting prices, and will vary based on the make and condition of your lockDue to the variable nature of the material we are working with, we are simply unable to provide flat prices over the phoneAs such, the technicians are the ones who determine the final price, based on what they see on siteFor house lockouts, it is not determined by the amount of time it takes to open the house, as we would honor our contract whether it took one minute or hoursThe price also reflects the risk an liability we take for any breakage that occurs during the processHowever, one aspect of your complaint that did stand out to me was your comment that the technician performed the work, and only gave you the quote afterIt is our strict policy that our technicians provide an invoice, with a full breakdown of the charges, prior to doing any workThis gives our clients the option of choosing another service if they choose, and they are only responsible for the service callIf this was not the case in your situation, we would certainly like to address itAgain, we value our customers' satisfaction, and make every effort to be open about our pricingPlease contact us back, and we would be happy to resolve the situationThanks

The check for $70 was sent out to the customer yesterday. The complaint is resolved.

Our technician went to the job site twice, both times the customer signed an invoice with the price details before the tech started any work. However, we have since stopped working with this technician and are unable to provide anything other than electronic records of the invoices. Furthermore, we will agree to refund the customer $70. Please provide the best address for us to send him a check.
We cannot provide his original keys back because our technicians do not keep these keys. 
Also, we will not send a technician back out to the job site unless the customer wants to pay in full for the service needed. We have already had one tech go out twice for paid services, and another tech go out and fix the problem for free, and the customer still is not happy, wants a refund, and says more work needs to be done.
