After going in for a oil change a few months ago, they put my car under my husband’s car-mixing it up, I told them about it 2x,after the car was finished I left and my car was riding roughI finally got it back in there and they said now I needed wheel bearings, my rotor cut and a new batteryI never had any problems before I brought it thereAfter I paid for these repairs, I had my check engine light go on (in my years) of having this car, it never went on, plus my ABS light was onI called and they could only work on it as long as it was on their time, even though this was their mistakeI had to either take off work or the guy said to wait till the weekendHe said it should be fine (how would he know) if he never even looked at it nor fixed it correctly in the first placeI brought it in and they made me make an appt for their mistakeThey took all these walk ins and every time I called for the status they said the technician has it now, hours later again they said the technician was looking at it nowFinally they called my husband to tell him their was no problem with check engine light, ABS was off, but the part they needed for that wouldn't be in till MondayThey said (after) I picked it up that they were waiting all day for the part, when they never even took it in till the afternoon, because that is when we called was the afternoon (even though I had a 7am appt.) and they were just getting it in per the person on the phoneI guess they think, they can do what ever they want and were too stupid to figure it outWhen I asked about the check engine light when I picked it up that afternoon, she said let me check, I don't want to assume, this being the owners wife, whom I told her for the 3rd time the information with my husbands car and mine were switched in which she responded by saying 'it does not matter as long as the vin matches'???? How would you know what car is who's and what if he wasn't my husband? A car owner is independent from each person no matter if they are married or notThen she told me 'Oh Rich (the owner) will come out and put it on the diagnostic tool nowAre you kidding me? They said there was no problem with the engine (she -the wife) was the one who ASSUMED and said it was fine on the phone to my husbandAt this point I went outside (not knowing but guessing he-Rich) was the owner and she was his wifeI thought I would mention everything going on and it was when he said ya to everything as if it were expectable, and finally about not checking the diagnostics all he said was well it didn't get on my work ticketAnd that is my fault, and should be comforting to me how? After he floored me with having an excuse for everything but then said what do you want, he did not offer an apology until I just stared at him and was having difficulty finding the words trying not to be ignorant as clearly they are, that I had to spell it outI left after that I got only several feet away and heard a screeching sound, obviously they did not test drive itI turned right around, pulled right back up to the front door and when I walked in, there he was with his wife, and the other guy with the grey hair that sits up at the desk and makes phone calls (when I came in to pick my car up) he never even acknowledged me as I waited until the woman wandered back up front-there was even some young technician that walked up front looked at me and just turned around and then proceeded on still looking at me from the shop through the window, not once telling anyone, there he was talking about me to them as I just paid for shoddy work, they made several mistakes, out and out lied but the worst of it was there lack of CUSTOMER SERVICENo professionalism what so ever, total disrespect and because they are they owners, they feel they don't have to own up to the fact that this was a barrage of mistakesAnd a simple (from the beginning day of dropping it off for an oil change and having the wrong info) I'm sorry about that, instead of the arrogadoesn't matter attitudeThey could have stopped at that point, but instead it went on and on, I held my tongue the whole time, trying to be tolerantBut when after the last thing was fixed for the umpteenth time, and right after he was talking about me I told him I heard him and he said that he was telling them what does she want I said sorry Well SORRY he never did it was only after I had to keep repeating myself, then in the parking lot when I was obviously flustered by this whole event that he said, what do you want me to do get down on my knees?!!!! this ladies and gentlemen is how someone in denial acts when he never nor his wife had the common courtesy to admit to a mistake and at least say sorry before it got to thisInstead he ended up trying to intimidate me???? Then went on to say that his wife said I never said anything about the check engine, are you kidding me??????? I made an appt for it and called during the week and spoke to someone about it, and then she told my husband it was checked!!! The unbelievable way of trying to skirt out of something that means your business, seriously????couldn't get any worseHe then preceded on telling me he cares deeply about his customers and lives only a few miles away, what does any of this matter, if it were the truth why would he even have to say this????? We had a bad experience with (my husbands car) when we moved here a few years ago, I thought this time I was just coming in for an oil changeIf throughout this whole ordeal just once someone took responsibility to say we are sorry for ANY of it I would not be typing this message todayWe all make mistakes but to think you are above admitting to it and treating the people who pay YOUR bills like second class citizens all due to your arrogance is and will be your undoingI WOULD NEVER TAKE MY CAR BACK THERE (auto) AGAIN NOT ONLY ARE THE OWNERS RUDE BUT THEY BREED IT WITH NOT EXPECTING ANYMORE FROM THEIR STAFFfyithis review was sent to me several times, you asked and here's the truthI know they will hide this review but don't you worry I will make sure others are forewarned
The oil change sticker and receipt said they put the wrong type of oil in my car, I called to ask about it and they said "oh they probably put the right oil in just didn't put the right kind on the sticker" ....probably? What else do they "probably" do? Was my oil actually changed? My filter? When I called the shop to question the type of oil put in my car I asked if he had any paperwork he could check to verify the type of oil they put in my car and he said he would have to look through papers and call me back. He never did. Also, when I called to make the appointment they said the oil change was something around $30 then when I get there they tell me that is for a basic oil -- I wonder if I got tricked. My oil change was $63.91 to get the synthetic blend oil, the only type of oil the car has had everywhere else for half that price. They didn't even check my filters or bulbs and I know my brakes are getting low. I was looking for a new shop closer to home, now I know better when I find a good place, stick with them.
