Review: I had damage to my residence last year from Hurricane Sandy to where my siding needed to be replaced on my entire house. I submitted a claim in my homeowner's insurance company and was issued a check. The siding was replaced with new siding. About a month after if was replaced, a piece of the siding blew off and then another came off from the Winter. When the initial piece blew off, I called the contractor and he came out. My wife and I were told that he needed to take all the siding off and then put it all back up due to seeing imperfection throughout the whole wall. We were told that since Winter was coming that if we could wait till the Spring he would take care of the issue. I called him numerous times and received a text that since he is attempting to recoup thousands of dollars in money that is owed to him, he will not be taking care of my issue until he is able to get most of the money that is owed to him. My claim was paid in fill and my insurance company was made aware of it and they were also issued a copy of the paid in full receipt. I feel that my repair should be taken care of since I was one of his customers that paid in full.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that my repairs be done ASAP by the original contractor. Or if he wants, then have some other reliable contractor handle the repair and have the original contractor foot the bill. If he refuses or does not respond, I will be seeking legal council.
