I am rejecting this response because: The statement made by the store is false, after the transaction was complete and I noticed that I had been charged a fee for using EBT, I stated to the cashier should I HAD BEEN CHARGED A FEE FOR USING EBT FOOD STAMPS and she stated yesI asked for the receipt and left the storeThis matter should be investigated fully people are being charged to use their food stamps at this store they are ripping there customers offAlso I know that this store has just recently got there EBT Machine reinstalled in the store because they were not accepting EBT for quite some timeMaybe it was for the same reason.!!!
Business states that the total charge for a 99 cent soda should be no more than $1.12 as they do not charge a debit card fee for EBT use. Business believes that the consumer may have purchased an additional item for 30 cents to bring the total to $1.42. Consumer is welcome to come back to the store...
and verify the charges when making their next purchase.
Review: I have been coming to this store for five years and I just noticed that every time I use my EBT card I am being charged a fee as if I am using a debit card. Today I used by EBT Food stamps to purhace a 99 cent soda and was charged 1.42. I am not sure if this should be happening and I also read there should not be a fee for food stamp purchases.Desired Settlement: I would like to know if this should be happening and if not what can be done about this business charging people to use their food stamps at their sotre
