Regarding the complaint, this patient came into our office and wanted his tooth extracted because he was in painHe signed the consent and the financial arrangementsHe paid for the extractionHe said we were the only office who was ever able to fully anesthetize him and it was a good experience
We did not believe we needed to give him anabiotic's because he did not have an infectionHe had terrible gums and teeth and had not been to the dentist in many many yearsHe was also a smokerWe told him not to smoke or he may develop a dry socketWe did not hear anything more from him until recently when he called our office threatening us with extortion and if we did not pay him money he would ruin our reputation onlineI am in the process of filing a police report because this type of behavior is not legalIf he had any kind of problems after his extraction he failed to contact our office and therefore we could not help himThank you very much, *** ***

I am rejecting this response because:
In response to what Doctor *** statedI was NOT in pain when I walked in to the office, I told every single staff member that and I have a witness proving thatI did NOT asked for my tooth to be pulled, again I told every single staff member I talked to and also have a witness proving thatI did NOT give consent for the first round of anesthetic I only gave consent to pull the tooth after they shot me up, again have a witnessAnd there was multiple phone calls before I told them I wanted a refund and if I didn't get it I was going to report them to the Revdex.com and Texas dental board

I am rejecting this response because:  In response to what Doctor [redacted] stated. I was NOT in pain when I walked in to the office, I told every single staff member that and I have a witness proving that.   I signed consent to extract the tooth after I was drugged up. I DID NOT give consent to be drugged up. When I asked why I needed to be I was told "you need it" and that can be verified by my witness. And when it came to signing consent about extracting the tooth the staff member (name can not remember at this point) said "well you're already numbed might as well go ahead and do it" that also can be verified by my witness. Also cleaning was never done that I paid for.
