7 Bus

Review: We needed to go to New York City for a medical consultation. Although we had a prepaid reservation for a specific date(Sept. **), pickup location(Riverhead NY) and bus departure time(3:30pm), the driver would not allow us to board at 3:30 and drove off with an empty bus. He gave no explanation, only that they should get on the next one. At 4 pm, we boarded a bus to NYC. The driver of the second bus had no understanding or explanation for his coworker's refusal. Since we had lost 30 minutes, we missed the medical appointment that we had in Manhattan. The doctor could not see us but charged us for the visit. Repeated attempts over the past three weeks to contact a supervisor/manager at 7 bus have failed.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a $48 refund for 2 round-trip bus fares. (As a result of the bus company employee's actions,the entire trip was a waste of time and money.) I would also like to be reimbursed for the doctor's fee of $275 but don't know if that is possible.
