I am seeking resolution to my complaint by being refunded the amount that I paid for the home inspection - $
*** *** signed a contract with our company to do his home, septic, termite and radon testing on Feb 8, Our contract states he agreed to the ASHI Standards of PracticeThose standards state a home inspector reports what is visible at time of inspection(We cannot predict the future)
After *** moved in he had a series of complaintsAfter visits and calls we offered to return his inspection fee ($725) and he agreed he was satisfied with this outcome and signed a RELEASE(see attached)Months later - last weekend we saw a horrible review posted and asked what was upHe said he had to get a loan to pay for things we should have foreseen like a sump pump and drain system due to water infiltration. We reviewed his complaint with the professional foundation company he hired to do the "Professional Foundation Evaluation and Repair as Needed" as we had stated for him to do in his February reportThis company said that at time of service they did not see a need for a sump pump or drainage tileOur team visited with him last nightThey did an onsite review and tried to help *** understand inspectors cannot predict what might happen in the futureWe reminded him he had agreed to accept the full refund and signed the RELEASEHe was angry when we left and stated he plans to put us down on social mediaWe have been in business for years and up until now have not had a complaint we couldn't resolveWe feel we have bent over backwards, refunded money that we didn't have to refund, gone to visit, talked and text and emailed many times and there isn't anything else we can doPlease consider removing this complaintAnd please call us if you need any further proof or informationSincerely, *** *** *** ***
We've been trying to contact her in the past few days. We've called her several times, emailed and left voicemails. We would like to refund her the money she paid for the inspection. While...
we didn't perform the gas inspection ourselves (we pay a different company to do that and do not make money on it), we'd like to try and make her happy. Please reach out to her to let her know to contact us.

I am rejecting this response because:
IN RESPONSE TO JANE'S COMMENT: What she failed to tell you is the septic tank didn't have a high level alarm that is required. They didn't test the pump, and I have a couple thousand dollars in repairs for the drain field that had 3 breaks in it, shoot a small fountain out of the ground. Also, when they came to my house, I showed them everything regarding my concerns for the basement. [redacted], a master inspector, told me that inspectors do not have to be "professionals" in any field in order to be an inspector. So, my question is, what are you in the business for? To rip people off. Back to my basement. I showed them pictures of where the water came in from and where it traveled to. I told them that [redacted] came to my home, and the very first thing he said was "did your inspector not tell you that these rough spots are from a current or former leak?" According to the report and myself they mentioned nothing. [redacted] came out to install a sump system. When they seen the marks, they said the same thing. "Who did you have as your inspector because they should have known this." I brought that up to [redacted] and Wes last night, and they said "they are not professionals in basements or foundations, they are only giving a "visual inspection". What kind of bull is that? In regards to the release. I had originally told them that I wanted a refund because they messed up. They agreeded to the refund as long as I signed a release stating that they were not liable for anything. Funny thing they forgot to mention is when I originally went to them for the refund, I tired to get the 8,000 dollars then, but when I said that, they said I would have to go through arbitration. Well, that is 250.00 am hour with a minimum of 10 hours at NO COST to the business you're trying to settle with UNLESS you when. Then, and ONLY THEN, are they required to pay. To sum this up, they do not want to claim responsibility. All I was asking was for my 8,000 dollars that I shouldn't have had to spend. I guess trying to hold business accountable is a thing of the past when you can't afford arbitration. 7 OAKS HOME INSPECTION has taken the easy way out. The compamy that inspected the cracks and repaired them said that the floor had signs of a current/former leak. The company that came out for the installation of the sump pump said the exact same thing, except they said that any good inspector should habe mentioned it. Again, they missed the septic alarm, didnt verify the pumps operation. This is a joke. they did refund money ry for the inspection. However, when I said I was going to take them to court, they said I'd have to go through arbitration . If y you look at yelp.com, yellowpages.com and their own google reviews, there are complaints just like mine. They need to be held responsible for thir mistakes.
Sincerely,
