The notification I received today is not fair to me or to the business we filed a complaint about.  I sent an email in response to his answer to the original complaint.  I could not choose either of the options (explained in my last email) as we had not received a copy of the agreement that had Mr. [redacted]'s signature on it.  He emailed me on Saturday 5/11/16 that he had our signature page and was signing it and having a check cut that would be mailed to us with a copy of the agreements with ALL signatures on it.  To answer yes to your last request would have meant we had everything we needed, we did not.  To answer no would have made it look like his response that we were working out an agreement was not satisfactory to us either.  Neither answer was appropriate.  I do not want this to be closed in this way.  Once we have our agreement and check it can be closed, not published, and with us being very satisfied.  It is very important to us to not shed a bad light on ourselves or Mr. [redacted]'s company when we arrived an agreement and were satisfied.  Give it a bit more time for the rest of this to fall into place so we can all close it amicably.Sincerely,[redacted] and [redacted]

the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved. I'm accepting this under the terms that all eaves are properly repaired by installing a starter course of shingles with ice and water shield that is uncompromised by nail holes.  The valley is removed and replaced with the ice and water shield installed correctly.  Lastly, the flashing around the chimney be installed correctly.
