Review: approx. 12 years ago I. purchased a new home that were installed with 7 D industry windows, which come with a lifetime warranty. . I. contacted 7D industries approx. 3 months ago and spoke to "Elliot" concerning the problems I was have with 12 windows(the interior seal fail with creating a dirty, fog appearance between the two panes of glass) and hardware failure with the sliding mechanism on multiple windows. I. informed Elliot of the problems with you could tell he did not want to deal with. Elliott asked me to provide numbers on the separate defective windows, I explained to Elliott that the numbers were not longer there because they were printed on paper and we're exposed to the elements. . Elliott responded 'no worries' , just give me the window measurements and that would be fine, I responded okay, I will call you back in a couple of days which I did with the measurements of 12 faulty windows and a count on 8 faulty window hardware. . Elliott spoke and his reply was I'll get back to you in a week or so. . that was over 2 months ago and at least 6 follow up phone calls that always went to his voice mail. I. made 1 final attempt today, May 9th 2016. 11:50a.m.. I would like to receive all the replacement windows and hardware, also any future window failures to be handled according to 7 D industries lifetime warranty. Finally I fulfilled all of Elliots' requests pertaining to said defective windows and hardware. . I. have had defective windows replaced by 7D approx. 6 years ago without any hassle, holdups, or delays.Desired Settlement: replacement of defective windows and hardware. now and any future failures according to 7D industries lifetime warranty.

Our company has a Limited Lifetime Product Warranty, which we do abide by after the proof of purchase is provided and we can accurately find a manufacture date of windows. The windows in your home were manufactured in 2003, which in accordance with our Seal warranty falls under years 11 through 20, 50% of the cost of the replacement glass component at our current price for insulated glass and Hardware is warranted for 3 years. Also stated in our warranty, our company does not cover any labor or shipping/handling charges. So please understand the cost breakdown Eliot sent is not retaliation from our company by no means he is following our product warranty for windows over 10 years old. Our company does understand your dissatisfaction on how your warranty process was handled, so please contact me direct in regards to your warranty claim.Warranty Claim #[redacted] CC: Revdex.com [redacted]Extension #[redacted]Thank You Kim R**
Review: I purchased 7d windows from [redacted] Lumber in July, 2008 and were installed in August, 2008. Since then I have had more than half the seals fail on the windows and had to get replacements. As more seals on the windows failed. I had a difficult time getting replacements and was told I was going to start being charged for shipping if 7d felt obligated to replacement. I was told I had a 20 year guarantee on the windows, but told it was only ten. [redacted] Lumber informed me that they dropped 7d as a product line. I have frost forming on the interior of the windows during cold spells and these are suppose to be guaranteed thermal sealed dual pane windows. I had 7d/[redacted] send replace, many times they did not fit or the right size. I warned [redacted] and 7d if I continue to have more problems or failures I would file a complaint.Desired Settlement: I want the windows fixed or replaced
