Due to a communication error between our credit card terminal and the merchant provider's computers at the time the complainant's transaction was processed, only half of the transaction was processed. In plain English, this means that their credit card account was charged but we never received the funds from these charges. We can supply our settlement reports to show that this is true. Thus, we can not issue a refund for these charges.
I remember this call. I tried to explain what happened to the complainant in a polite manner but, understandably, they would not accept the fact that they would have to contact their bank to resolve this. After all, they had no way of knowing that we did not receive the funds and only saw that their account was charged. I did not say "Let your bank correct the problem." I said "Your bank will have to correct the problem because we did not receive the funds."
When this happened in the past, the bank eventually discovered that the transactions were out of balance and refunded the money to the credit card holder. Hopefully this has already occurred. If not I am sure a call to the bank will resolve this.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this caused the complainant. As a way of making it right, I would like to offer them a $25 store credit that they can use towards the purchase of any used game, console or accessory.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The person who responded was not forthcoming with the TRUTH pertaining to my telephone call to the business in an attempt to have the matter resolved. He was "very unprofessional" and also refused to provide his name and did in fact state to me "let your bank handle the problem" after I had requested that the charges be revered due to the ERRORS of OVERCHARGING $300.00 on a purchase that was only $50.00, but had been paid for using a different Debit Card. He told my son that the transaction was not going through, but steadily "continued to swipe my card to the INVALID Charge of $300.00. I don't accept the excuse he gave for not having made some kind of effort in assisting me to have the matter resolved. I will definitely tell everyone I know about the horrifying experience I was forced to endure in doing business with that Company. I appreciate the Bureau's attempt to assist me with having the matter resolved. It appears that the matter will only be resolved by contacting Agencies that have Jurisdiction over such matters and questionable business practices because I will not accept being "ripped off" for $300.00.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,
