I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.I want it to be known that Tara's claims about our address are false, and I have attached a screenshot of our registration profile information that has been correct since midsummer Also, I am irate that she is implying that we lied about not getting the other checks she supposedly sent; and to an incomplete/wrong address TWICE! After her first claim of sending the check and telling the address she sent it to, we immediately responded to her that she had left off the very first numbers of our street address, which she ignored and supposedly sent another one to the wrong address again! She states in her own response that she canceled those checks, and obviously you can't cancel checks that someone already cashed So, we DID NOT receive any checks before this complaint was filed, and finally issued a check that we did pick up Also, ignoring our questions about anything is a pattern with Tara and we have all the emails that she has ignored from us for three years

Good Afternoon, This is my response to ID #[redacted] I was e-mailed by Ron [redacted] on November 10th that his daughter [redacted] was going to be withdrawing from the studio due to chronic back pain that could not be resolved. At that time, they asked for a refund for one month of tuition and stated that if...

that could not happen they also understood. They also understood that if some of the costumes had been ordered already that they did not expect a refund. All of [redacted]'s costumes had been ordered by that time, so we were unable to refund. I e-mailed them back stating that we would take a look at everything and see what we could do for them since [redacted] has been a long-time student of ours. Our tuition policy that all parents sign and read states "no pro-rations or refunds for any reason," but we agreed to send them the $179 for the month she had not danced much due to the pain. The check was sent- TWICE in the month of December to the address provided in our online directory and they claimed it was never received. Both checks were cancelled and a new one was issued last week that they came and picked up. The situation has been resolved and I have e-mailed them to tell them that half of [redacted]'s costumes are now available but one may not be here until March. As soon as it is received I will make sure they get them. I bent the rules to give them this refund in good faith since they have been part of 8 Count for several years. I kept them in the loops as to when the check was being put in the mail and if they had received it. With the holidays, there were many gaps in communication and I believe this is what the majority of the complaint is referring to. The $179 check has been picked up and as soon as the last costume arrives it will be sent with the others to their home address of: [redacted].
