I am rejecting this response because: the business (lawn care) has caused defamation of character and needs to be held accountable for it. It is highly unprofessional and morally wrong for a business to state such information/lies about their customer. They are clearly lying and need to pay for causing such damage to their customer's reputation. The business also needs to either update their website with correct and honest information about not guaranteeing results or close the business altogether

Thank you for the opportunity to explain the scenario from our perspective. The complaint was submitted by a customer of ours for 3 years. Services appear to have been going fine up untill this season. Our service model has always been a lawn care program of 6 applications delivered 1 every 6 weeks....

This is how we and every other lawn care company services customers and delivers guaranteed results. Consistancy. This client ensited that we only service their property 4 times a season or every 9 weeks. This model allows weeds to invade and results to be less than desirable. This was explained to the client multiple times. There was an understanding that results could not be guaranteed.Recently the client called our office in an outrage and demanded to speak to someone who can solve their problem. Our office admin who is fully capable and trained to resolve issues answered the phone and assured him she could help. The client jumped into an angery rant about the weeds in their lawn and continued to defame our business, calling us names and how terrible our company is and that our services are worthless. Then insisted that the office admin could not help him and he demanded to speak with the owner. The owner was unavailable at the time and our office staff made every attempt to calm the client down and come to a resolution. The client continued to insult our staff with a demeaning and abusive attitude with offensive language.The client hung up and continued to call back with demands and threats and incesent foul language. After several calls we chose to ignore the calls because he was not interested in a resolution, only in yelling and wanting to talk with the owner. He left several abusive messages which we ignored. This behavior does not deserve the courteousy of return phone calls by the owner and is inappropriate action when looking for customer service and a solution. As a result of this senario, we as a company decided to sever the business relationship with the client with a full refund of the original prepayment of services in the amount of $176.40. We excersized our right to decline services to anyone for any reason.
