A disgusting and fake place where anybody can post anything on their mind. People believe its a reverse phone directory to find who called or who's phone number it belongs to.

This website is merely a rant collection for people who received an unwanted call and attracts all sorts of misfits. Posts are mostly trollers who seek attention and have arguments over who called and how to get even with telemarketers/scammers/debt collectors.

There are posts containing links to pornographic sites posted by people who claim someone sent them a link via text and posts these links. Others use vulgar language to describe an encounter with a scammer or angry telemarketer call. Its just a discussion board and not a real directory.

Its a disgusting place! In the forums there are kids talking about playing with feces and other sexual things, using foul language and posting images of such things for anyone to see. Its not a phone directory as much as it is a playground for degenerates!

The site is just a front for obtaining information from unsuspecting people who post reports of unwanted calls. These reports are used by the site staff to pretend they are exposing a scam or illegal debt collection practices. They make up stories to fool people into believing they are stopping phone scams, when in fact they have no record of such events. The fact is its just a place people can post anything without ever proving what they say. No registration is required to post and many post anonymously with spam and troll posts to entice the registered members into "fights" for amusement.

I have come across several phone numbers I wanted to report about, thinking this would be the place. I found links from people getting texts of porn and they posted those right there for anyone to click! Among those there are registered users making insulting racist remarks and using foul mouth language.

Bad moderation , many comments are with foul language and graphic sexual expressions. Reporting is ignored. Other commenter's will insult people with a mob like mentality . Its difficult at best to understand some call reports, if they are actual experiences from an unwanted call or simply some made up story.

What I thought was a service to find out owners of phone numbers, turned out to be a call complaint website.I went there many times to look up a number, never commenting about my calls.

A few days ago I wanted to contribute some numbers I knew of and was not able to complete even one. I was asked by several people all within a few minutes why I was there, what is the address, what is the company's website and called a lying shill. I replied back WTF is a shill and who are these people. After a few insults from them, I told them where to go and stopped responding.

I began looking up reviews and found my way here. I have read a number of reviews and decided to write one of my own. I can't believe so many others had the same experience, what is that website really for? Seems like a bunch of "k'is" made it, just for amusement.

My business info has been incorrectly associated with a spam phone number on this site & I have been receiving angry phone calls as a result.On April 28, 2015, my business information for [redacted] was published on the 800notes.com website by a person named "[redacted]" in response to spam phone calls. Site acts as defamation of character on multiple companies as well as individuals. When requests are sent to remove harassing info. no response.Site moderator does not moderate. 800Notes is irresponsible in their business service and profiting on the defamation of other legitimate businesses.800Notes claims to provide a service but refuses to accept responsibility for this service because they claim that being an interactive computer service provider, they are not liable for the content posted by the users of the service. The problem I have with this practice is that they do not require a login, registered email, phone number or anything to identify the "user" that is posting the content. Is 800Notes posting content? Are they escalating or exacerbating what may have started as a legitimate complaint into something much worse without any representation of the resolution? 800Notes is very smug about their legal position and they have been defended against liable and defamation suits in the past but what I'm suggesting is that 800Notes is a "trolling" site and as such should require a login in order to track their users and such content.Like the Revdex.com, people go to the 800Notes to register a complaint.
