805 Jumpers Reviews (1)

Review: We rented a bounce/jumper from 805 Jumpers for a party we were having at Barranca Park in Ventura, CA on Saturday June 29, 2013. The cost was $110.00 for a 6 hour rental. This amount was paid in full and in cash upon delivery. The bouncer was delivered at noon as agreed, but within an hour and a half it deflated as CHILDREN were in it. Now according to the contract I signed: if anything like that happened we were to inspect the equiptments cord and attachments to see if anything got loose. My husband did and all seemed fine, so he restarted the generator again. Then less than an hour later it happened again: AGAIN WITH CHILDREN IN IT. At this point we called the number given on the contract. On the contract is does say if it happens again we are to call and that's exactly what we did. I then was told by Jessica (receptionist) that according to her manager because we didn't call them the FIRST time there was nothing he could or would do. She then said per her manager that he was unavailable to speak to me until Monday. Now again according the contract we DID abide by "rules" and did exactly what it said was to be done if this matter were to happen. Well I called Monday 3 x's and left messages and no one has returned my call. It's obvious I'm being ignored. I'm NOT asking for a full refund, but rather then a partial perhaps half. But again I'm being ignored. I'm extremely disappointed that they're avoiding me, but I'm now angry about the disregard they have knowing their faulty equitpment defalted while children were inside. I've contacted the Ventura County parks rec department as well. I'm hoping to get some sort of resolution.Desired Settlement: I paid $110.00 in cash for faulty equitpment. I'm asking for at least 1/2 of my money back. We had the bouncer for 5 1/2 hours and it maybe worked about 2.5 hours of that time. Again more so then the money was seeing the children (ages 2-8) crying and their parents screaming and running towards the bouncer in terror.

I am rejecting this response because:

Dear Mr. Saucedo and 805 Jumpers,

I will not be accepting your insulting offer simply because it shows that indeed you don’t care for your customers. In fact I feel the offer of a $20.00 refund is an insult and I am truly am disappointment in your company’s customer/consumer service skills.

Again as a notion of my good demeanor and my assumption that your company would be family focused: being that most of your clients would families with children, I would expect more of a heart towards what events happened that day.

I along with my husband KNOW that we did abide by your contract rules and to have you state that my stated facts in my first message were “not true” is more than insulting, it’s downright rude and very unprofessional. I come from a consumer world where the customer is always right and sir I KNOW I was.

I handled myself with grace and patience trying to give you and your company the benefit of the doubt. Knowing that our joyous celebration was turned upside down by your faulty product was more than sad. It terrified the children and the parents and invited guest 2 times! In fact there were two other parties at the park that day (complete strangers to us) and they too RAN to our party to help us remove the children (ages 2-8) from the deflated jumper. And even when I called on Saturday 6/28/13 NOT once was I ever offered an apology or an once of concern for the children or the families traumatized by what happened. In fact YOUR management team refused to speak to me, rather I was told you would be available on Monday and even then I was ignored, that is by I contacted the Revdex.com. It was only after that fact is when you tried to call me back.

How sad that it took the Revdex.com for you to give me the time of day rather than my call to you to directly on the day of our party.

Again the guest at my party are very aware of whom you are and they have asked me to keep them posted of this matter. Also you should know that the other people who came rushing over to help us remove the children from the jumper also asked what company we rented from and they too gave me their email information to keep them advised of this matter too. So bottom line is Mr. Saucedo allot of people, close to 200 people were at the park that day and they are very aware of your consumer concern type of business. I didn’t have to tell them a thing other than the truth: and sir you’ve provided all of that yourself.

I had originally only had requested half of the $110.00 in my good faith towards you and your company. But by your insulting offer of $20.00 I now am asking for the WHOLE amount of $110.00.

Please note a copy of this letter is going out to my invited guest and the concerned friend (strangers from the other parties) in light of your reply.

I truly hope we can work this out, I hope you can come to realization that consumer relationships are extremely important when it comes to a business.

Sir it’s up to you to make this right. Again allot of people will know who are and how you do business. Now how would you like to be known as….?

Lastly please note I’ve started an affidation of that day’s events to my entire guest list and my new friends from the two other parties per their request.

Regards,

Ginamarie Cosio
