Review: I was looking into buying a Samsung Galaxy S6. When I went into this store the man behind the counter told me he would take off $200.00 off the price of $650.00. I told him I will be back, I will continue to look around. I called him from my phone and asked him if the phone is still $450.00 and if it was a used phone or refurnished phone. He tells me it is completely new. I agreed to go and told him I was interested in purchasing. I went with my ** year old brother and he asked me who was my carrier I told him [redacted]. He tells unfortunately for [redacted] the phone costs $599.00 not $450.00, $450.00 is for [redacted]. I agreed to the price because other places were charging me $750.00 and $675.00. He then suggested I buy a case and a glass screen protector for my phone and the total would be $650.00 I asked him if I paid cash or with my card would it be the same price he assured me yes everything $650.00 but he only takes debit. I agreed and I gave him my debit card and he takes out a receipt book and tells me start putting my name and number on the top. He swiped my card and while I am writing my information on the receipt book he tells me to enter my pin number so I walk over and entered my pin. He then folds my receipt from my transaction gives me the receipt and starts to tell me don't lose the receipt and I unfold the receipt and I see he charged me $772.63. I immediately told him he charged me incorrectly that he told me $650.00 and he goes on to tell me that yes $650.00 but that is the price without taxes. I told him no I don't want the cellphone I want my money back because he told me $650.00 and he never told me 772.63. He then shows me their NO REFUND POLICY. I am still in shock and I called my bank ([redacted]) immediately right from the store and told him it is completely outrages he is charging me an amount I never agreed to and he kept telling me I should know I have to pay taxes and how before I enter my pin the amount showed in the screen. All the screen said was ENTER PIN it did not show the amount and he continued to say I should have known and I should have asked him if the price given was with taxes included or not. When he saw I was talking to the bank he started to say how there is a year of warranty included in the price to stop making a scene he was also going to connect my phone and all installations for free. He kept telling me it was my fault for not asking and now he can't refund my money and the manager will not do it because of their no refund policy. I talked to my bank and spoke to a supervisor and she took my complaint and I am currently disputing the charge made to my debit card by them. I had no idea he was charging me $772.63 and it is completely unfair and unethical the way he handled this transition. This is a scam it feels like a scam for him to tell me a price and enters a different amount that he never mentioned and then to tell me they have a no refund policy. I am out $772.63 and I have to phone, I am waiting for [redacted] to do their investigation on this charge but I also want to put a complain on this business for them not to do this to another customer.Desired Settlement: I want them to give me a full refund and for them to start telling their customers the amount that will be charged on their debit card purchase not to just say that we should know that the prices they say doesn't include taxes. If he would have told me $772.63 I would have never given him my debit card I would not be disputing this with my bank or filing a complaint with Revdex.com.

Review: Product that I purchased was used and reported lost or stolen to the phone company. I asked for a brand new iPhone 5 and was given it used . I payed $816 dollars for this iPhone which was used already. I went back to 82 electronics to get my money back but was denied it . I also brang the iPhone 5 , the charger and headphones and box that was given to me . As the box for the iphone and the IMEI number of the iPhone 5 were checked , they didn't match . So they gave me a used phone with a box that did not correspond to the iPhone 5 when I bought the phone .I was only given one receipt in which it states the price I payed .Desired Settlement: I would like to get a full refund of my money .

Response:

Dear whomever concerned,

[redacted] came in the store on July **, 2013 and bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 for AT&T. As you see on the store receipt the phone is for AT&T service use only. [redacted] went to another place and unlocked the phone to use with T-Mobile service, which automatically voids the warranty. The next day [redacted] came in the store with police officers, without coming in first and talking to us about his issue, demanding his money back. I looked at the phone and saw the T-Mobile service logo on the top and knew it has been unlocked. When unlocking, one has to make changes to the hardware and software of the phone and if they don’t know exactly what they are doing, they can damage the phone significantly. Even though the issue was not caused by us, I told [redacted] that I will fix the issue at no extra cost to him, but again, he demanded his money back. Our store policy states: “Absolutely no cash or credit cards refunds”. As you see on the store receipt, it’s a Final sale. The customer stated that the price was changed several times, which is not true!
