I am rejecting this response because:1 - they did not respond to the Revdex.com and
2 - in the communication directly to me, there was no resolution, just an apology.  Again, I feel that if the business or one of its agents made an offer to sell an item at a certain price , they should honor that price.If they are not bound by statute to honor the advertised price, I assume they will not. Please advise if they are bound to honor their advertised price.Regards,

February 9, 2016Thank you for Contacting our office regarding a recent misprint in an advertisement for Kennie's Markets. The Complaint received by your office concerned a two-pound package of E-Z Peel brand frozen shrimp advertised for $4.98.We inadvertently omitted that the pricing for the E-ZPeel...

Shrimp was $4.98 per pound, making the final retail price $9.96. Kennie's Markets took normal and customary measures to identify our error and address it with our Customers. Unfortunately, print errors happen on occasion and we at Kennie's do all we can to avoid such issues. We understand what inconvenience and frustration this causes our valued guests. Additionally, we do everything within our means to either honor misprinted pricing or offer an alternate item. In this circumstance, we had no viable alternative.Attached is the misprinted direct mail promotion featuring the product and an example of our in-store "Oops' signage. Space on the magnet mailer is extremely limited. We run a disclaimer in our weekly flyer that covers advertising errors. I have also included a copy of one of those flyers with the disclaimer on the bottom.Kennie's is an employee owned market with a 57 year history of serving our friends and neighbors. We take all complaints seriously and in no way intended to misrepresent our products or services.A letter of apology & explanation was sent to the customer who filed this complaint on Friday, February 5, 2016 after receiving a notice from her that she planned to involve the Revdex.com of this error.Tracey F.
