Not sure what the customer understands as to what is damage or vandalismThe conditions of what we would accept is clearly stated in the document he signedHe also told us the car "Ran Rough"We were not aware that it did not run at all and even if it had run the damage to the body was enough to negate the dealThe body damage would have been at least $and this was agreed upon with the understanding that it was in pretty good shape other than the rough running engineOur deal was indeed costly for the customer but, he was the one who was misleading as to what his intentions wereHe had paid us the $toward the payoff but, since has been refunded to him and we do not have any other obligation to him and his expensive tow bill.I'm sorry this did not turn out the way we wanted but, this deal had nothing to do with the purchase or financing of the vehicle we sold himThank you,Vahid T [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , NO I don't and have never spoke to a Joan and they were not cooperation with meYes, since they receive this message from you the Revdex.com and me talking back and forward with United Finance the financing company yeah now they are trying to contact me but, I am at work and like I told the finance company because they are rude and unprofessional and trying to make it seems like that whatever the problem is with the car that it's my faultYes I totally understand that the car is years old but as a dealership they are suppose to make sure the car is at least in road worthy condition and because it is not and Vahid were talking to me like I am stupid or just plain dumb and don't know how to operate a car I don't want it I want my money backNot to mention all the other problems it has going on and I don't trust them with me and my kids life to even keep or buy another car from them I would not referred my worst enemy to themI would just like my money back and we go our separate ways Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: they were completely aware of the problems that the jeep had,one we called about a week after getting it to machanic and thats when I was told they reset the computer on it bwe baught it and it wasnt drivable within a month, and all they said was ohhh im sorry that usually never happens and that we could pay there machanic to fix at a discounted price( which I would never do after they reset computer bwe purchased to make it seem like it was ok and got lemons from them) so idk why they said it was running fine when made last payment when we drove are van there not the jeep, it's the same replies and [redacted] that they give every costumer thats had a problem they have nothing but bad reviews on every siteAnd not to mention they rape you on price, show you a fake KBB sheet saying Its worth allot more than I was I get home and check KBB and found out I paid close to 3500$ over KBB price in excellent condition they are scam artist and overpriced and I would understand that things happen and not every car is a good one by after getting cars that were lemmons and after reading review after review of same storie as mine it's clear to see there scammers....Sincerely, [redacted] ***

This Customer has let us know there is a problem and by what she told us it sounds like the security system has been somehow disengagedOr another possibility is the starter or batteryBut, unfortunately, we have offered to help get this taken care of but, it needs to be towed to the mechanic shop so until then our hands are tiedWe called and left a message for her to contact us asapWe sold her a Cadillac so these kinds of problems come up on a used vehicle we fully expect our customers to be able to use the vehicle we sell them but the customer has to understand that it is a year old car and problems can come up quite unexpectedly we fully intend to help her but without her cooperation we cannot [redacted]

I'm not really sure how to respond to this oneShe purchased this vehicle nearly one year ago and no complaints until nowThis was an In House financed deal and she made her last payment to us on February 1, and it was still was running great we have no record of her vehicle having any
problems reported by her I'm sympathetic to our customers if they have car repairs they cannot afford but, come on a used year old car is sold "AS IS"We no longer have any obligation whatsoever to repair or pay her for any of her car repairsI have attached the bill of sale and her payment history
Thank you,
*** ***

The customer did call us but, never brought the car into us to see if we could be of any help We recieved his plates within a amount of time called and let Him know they were inYes we care about how all of our customers feel about their purchase once they leave our lot but, if
he heard a clicking noise at the time of purchase why would he have ignored it This is why we encourage or customers to take the vehicle that want to purchase to a Certified mechanic to be sure of their purchaseThis vehicle is over years old and what they haul and how that drive can be extremely damaging this is why we cannot Guarantee anything on a used vehicleAnd in no way do we asuure any customer that a vehicle of this age that has a "clicking noise" is not a problem This is also why all used car dealers make sure that an "as is" agreement is signed and understoodAt this time we cannot do anything other then recommend a mechanic and offer our costs on parts and laborThis has been communicated to the customer.Thank you Vahid T***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: Almost everything in this response is falseI have never received a call about my plates, nor have I received a call regarding any type of resolution of the situationEach time I call I was told someone would be calling me back, to which I have yet to receive a call.I did not ignore noise, I was told it was nothing major by employees of the lot and given a speech about how he trusted the vehicle and wouldn't sell it if he thought it was going to break down due to the fact that it would make his lot look badThat being said, I trusted what I was told, to my dismayI haven't brought the vehicle in because IT DOESN'T RUN, it died on the way to the lotSeeing how I live in Salem it is highly unreasonable to not even offer to at least split the cost of towing the vehicle to the lot, also with no response pertaining to who in fact to speak with, costs and or any other pertinent information relayed to me, how do you expect me to take any sort of action on my end? I understand wanting to "protect" your year image and all but to flat out lie is despicable to say the leastYour business is a prime example of why Oregon needs a Lemon LawMy hopes is that other potential buyers will take heed of this complaint and think twice before purchasing.Sincerely,*** ***

I am happy to report that we have successfully settled this matterWe were able to trade her Cadillac in for a Chevy EquinoxShe has been in possession of her new vehicle since March 24, 2018.Thanks,Joan T***Office Manager***

This Customer took possession of the vehicle signed all the paperwork understanding that her down payment was nonrefundable because if we were unable to obtain financing with a 3rd party we would carry her contract until her credit was able to secure outside financing. During this process, not...

only did she lie to us about all of her stipulations income, residency and debt she also refused to answer countless phone calls made to her so communication was completely void. Oregon law and 82nd Auto Mall also require Insurance to drive a vehicle off the lot and nothing to do with financing. Her down payment of $500.00 was really minus $236.81 that we generously allowed her to use for insurance premium so she actually only paid $300.00 down payment She also had a deferred payment due on the 15th of January 2017. Because of this non-communication, for more than 3 weeks they forced us to start the repossession process. When they realized, we were going to repo the vehicle she told us that she would get her daughter to help her with the financing and deferred payment. We then took and application with her daughter but, she was unable to pay her deferred payment so we kept the vehicle.
This customer showed us with her bogus address for residence and unverifiable income and no communication for 3 weeks that she was not to be trusted and we do not have cars to lend to people for 3 weeks and get nothing in return. She was in default of all our contract stipulations so we do not owe her any refund whatsoever.

But, unfortunately, we have offered to help get this taken care of but, it needs to be towed to the mechanic shop...

so until then our hands are tied. We called and left a message for her to contact us asap. We sold her a 2002 Cadillac so these kinds of problems come up on a used vehicle we fully expect our customers to be able to use the vehicle we sell them but the customer has to understand that it is a 16 year old car and problems can come up quite unexpectedly we fully intend to help her but without her cooperation we cannot. [redacted]

enough to negate the deal. The body damage would have been at least $2000.00 and this was agreed upon with the understanding that it was in pretty good shape other than the rough running engine. Our deal was indeed costly for the customer but, he was the one who was misleading as to what his intentions were. He had paid us the $750 toward the payoff but, since has been refunded to him and we do not have any other obligation to him and his expensive tow bill.I'm sorry this did not turn out the way we wanted but, this deal had nothing to do with the purchase or financing of the vehicle we sold him. Thank you,Vahid T[redacted]

After nearly a year you decide that you got a “lemon” from us. I’m sorry but this is a completely ridiculous response. But, sorrier that you had a poor experience. You purchased a used vehicle and if you wanted a new car you would have paid $30,000.00 not $5,000.00 for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Then you could complain for five years. If the vehicle had anything major wrong with it you would have noticed it within the first day or two. With a used vehicle without purchasing a separate warranty you are solely responsible for all repairs needed on your vehicle, from the 1st day you own the vehicle. We as used car dealers cannot be held responsible for car repairs on any vehicle we sell unless it is something that should have been disclosed for safety reasons or if it cannot be registered to the new owner. To put it bluntly It is a 15-year-old vehicle with 160k miles! Things wear out and it’s a continuous repair bill by this age of a vehicle hopefully most will just be minor. But this is the reason Oregon DMV requires you sign “AS IS” documents before you drive home in the vehicle you purchased. My best advice to you is that on your next purchase have your independent mechanic inspect the vehicle before you purchase to make sure you are paying a fair price for what you getting. This is all I am going to say.
