began 6/22/and there was no noted concessions given for the unit being unable to be moved in to nor any documentation in the file stating that the residents did not move in on that date2) The community does offer weekly pest control services, every Thursday. This apartment home was on the service list upon resident request for service 6/and also for this week 7/3) The technician was in on 6/and noted that the resident was using Raid. This counteracts the chemicals and treatments that the pest control company is doing4) The lease agreement that the residents sign stated that they accept the apartment as is. They will be given an inventory & condition form to note any defects or damage and return within hours. Otherwise, everything will be considered to be in a clean, safe, and good working conditionThis form was not returned5) The lease agreement that the residents sign stated that they must not do any repairs, painting… or otherwise alter our property. Using raid would be considered as a repair/alteration6) After reviewing the pest control records there is no record of there being a problem in the unit prior to this resident’s tenancyThis unit is not listed on the prior 2-months of service logs There have been no written complaints made to the community in regards to this apartment home While we understand that there might be a problem we are actively working to resolve the problem but need the resident to work with the problems resolution and not use store purchased chemicals as this will not allow the problem to be resolved

in regards to this apartment home. We have our pest control specialists coming out tomorrow to again inspect this apartment home.  Their prior visits have resulted in no findings. Please let me know if you need any further information regarding this complaint.  [redacted] | Senior Community Manager o [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:
The first time being notified to the office was on 11:/24/2017 I called the 24/7 line to get someone to come and get the roaches and look at them. I also showed pictures to the manager of the roaches in my home and let her know that the roaches where crawling in my daughter. Never once has pest control been denied in my home if the bolt is one that means someone is home but the fact I was not around for Christmas there would be no way for that bolt to be on. I have been consistently being told they are not finding anything but when pest control comes I follow them and all they do is a quick spray and leave they are not doing a real look through and see. The one time pest control did come it was the manager and he seen the roach in my home and was able to tell me what kind of roaches they are which he said was a GERMAN Roach which was on December 14,2017. He then pulled up carpet n every room and went behind appliances and cabinets. The fact that I had to live with the roaches and they have been notified since day one I should be compensated for the pro rated rent that I had to pay even though I wasn’t there due to the roaches. I will also include in this letter the picture of the roaches that I had seen. They try and make it seem as if I have the roaches or I brought them and when I first got my keys I didn’t have any of my items in the house I came in with groceries in my hands and seeing roaches. I also have witness that have came over to my house to visit or hang out and see roaches crawling around which is very embarrassing! I also asked for my money back so I could move else where since they claim to not have any open apartments available for me to switch to and since the manager had been on vacation the week I came in her knowledge of what was going on was hearsay until I reached out until higher ups besides who I was dealing with which was the office petiole who told me I had to wait until Tuesday when pest control came out and hat was on the 11/25/2017 that I turned in my check list that you only have 24hours to do and turn in.
