Review: I ordered a gift basket from [redacted] on 04/**/2013 for our Air Force Squadron Commander who was retiring after 28 years of service. The gift basket was to include chocolates, and a bottle of bourbon (order # [redacted]). However, when we received the gift basket, the chocolates had melted and gotten all over the basket. We refused to give this gift to our Commander, and instead had to purchase another last minute gift.

I took photographs of the melted chocolates and the basket, and e-mailed them to the company. A representative by the name of [redacted] called me, apologized, and instructed me to send everything back to the company for a full refund. The company even e-mailed me a return slip to affix on the package for return. However, when I went to FedEx to return the package, I was turned away because I did not have a license to mail alcohol back to [redacted].

Frustrated and furious, I e-mailed the company back and told them that I could not send the package back because it contained alcohol. Another female, first name unknown, but started with a "D" called me after receiving my e-mail and said that I will still receive the full $145.00 refund without having to send the package back. After I got off the phone, I received two e-mails from the company. The first e-mail was sent on 5/30/2013 advising me that I was issued a credit in the amount of $145.00 for order number [redacted]. I then received another e-mail on 05/**/2013 stating that I was issued another credit in the amount of $50.00 for order number [redacted] for shipping I believe.

Not surprisingly, this company has failed to honor their word. I only received the $50.00 credit and not the $145.00 credit that was told to me over the phone and by e-mail. I still have this worthless basket with all the items that they can have back. However, It is not fair that I be stuck with a product that we were not satisfied with and stiffed of the charges because I don't have a license to mail the liquor back.Desired Settlement: Refund of my $145.00 that the company promised to make.

Review: I placed the below order on [redacted] and received [redacted]. I was very excited that I had found, purchased and received this excellent tequila!

After dinner we opened our box and removed the bottle, blue paper and ribbon-we were surprised that the bottle had no “seal” but proceed to unscrew the cap so we could enjoy. We first smelled the open bottle and thought it odd that it had no aroma but poured a small amount into a glass to smell/taste, again absolutely no aroma very odd for a high quality tequila, then on to the taste-imagine our surprise and dismay when all we tasted was water.

Their website professes to be the premier gift concierge for all occasions, thankfully this was a gift to myself and not a friend as I would be horrified to have sent a gift of water disguised as a high end spirit!

I called [redacted] and spoke to a lovely concierge “Lydia” who assured me that I would receive a return label and that I would be refunded the $199 (neither of which has happened yet)

I have contacted them 4 additional times and have yet to receive the return label so that I can ship the defective (ha) product back.Desired Settlement: I want a return label and refund. I would also like to know what caused this problem as $200 is a bit outrageous for a bottle of water disguised as tequila
