Wear it, laundry it, get it dryclean in other store???? No one know? Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 8, 2016/06/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The lady at the Dry Cleaners is correct in thinking that I don't know the procedure for cleaning ...temperature etc...however I know that the tailor that I took the garment to assured me that the inner lining had been overheated causing it to shrink his comment was " this is not a cheap suit " this shouldn't have happened...I can have the tailor verify that the sleeves had shrunk & that their press could remove the wrinkles [redacted] I still believe that they are totally responsible for the damage to my suit

Mr [redacted] came to my drycleaner on May 25 or 26, 2016. He told me that I shrunk his jacket's sleeve and he gave me his debit card receipt dated someday in March, 2016. I have no glue that what's happening. There is no proof that the jacket was...

the one I drycleaned for him in March. I have no proof that the sleeve is shrunk as no measurement before or after.
In Alberta, all store deal with return, complain within 30 days. I don't know why Mr [redacted] came back after 2 months.
For a normal customer, if you find something wrong when you got back your drycleeaning stuff. You must prompt back to the store to ask it fix but Mr [redacted] said he tried to iron at home to get the wrinkle out and wore it twice and finally landed in a tailor shop. Within two months, what did Mr [redacted] play with his suit? Wear it, laundry it, get it dryclean in other store???? No one know?
He said the tailor said that the jacket was overheated and get the sleeve shrunk. Does the tailor know the procedure of dry cleaning. Does he know what is drycleaning machine. What is the defiinition of OVERHEAT? At what temperature is overheated... 100C , 40C to shrink the sleeve.
I told Mr [redacted] that my drycleaning machine cannot overheat. All temperature is set for drying process. [redacted] I am now explaining how the machine work. The concept of the machine is same as washer but it also dry the clothing. Everyday I separated the colour to light, medium and dark, I put all dark colour clothing that may include wood coat, sport coat, dresses, 2pc suit...... into the drum and start the machine. It is all automatically wash with solvent, dry at the right temperature it already set....... Once it already, I take all clothing out, hang up and then press individuality. If what the professionally tailor said The Jacket got overheated, why only Mr [redacted]'s Jacket but not other stuff in the same load got overheated. If the sleeve got shrunk why the length of the jacket did not get shrink?? They are same material and have same lining throughout the jacket. [redacted]
[redacted]
Overheat - Please ask the tailor to test that good quality material at high temperature and see if the material will shrink. Good quality! High heat!!! Get shrunk! Is there any scientific proof???

The lady at the Dry Cleaners is correct in thinking that I don't know the procedure for cleaning ...temperature etc...however I know that the tailor that I took the garment to assured me that the inner lining had been overheated causing it to shrink his comment was " this is not a cheap suit " this shouldn't have happened...I can have the tailor verify that the sleeves had shrunk & that their press could remove the wrinkles... [redacted] I still believe that they are totally responsible for the damage to my suit.
