I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I never received a timely report on my claimGiven the delay, I had had the roof repaired for fear of additional damage from the elements--the water was leaking directly into the interior of the buildingI find the response inadequate and unprofessionalMy earlier notes and communications outline in detail my concerns and descriptions of the problem

This letter is in response to the complaint submitted by Mr*** ***, regarding the handling of his loss thatwas reported to Rockingham Group on August 10, 2016, for damages to the garage roof and insulation.To address the concerns presented by Mr***, I reviewed the claims handling and
settlement process by theRockingham Group adjuster, *** ***.When we received the loss, Mr*** attempted to contact Mr*** on August 10th, and left a voicemailmessageHe assigned the claim to an independent adjuster with *** Claims for inspectionThe independentadjuster contacted insured immediately and met with insured on August 12th, at the riskAlthough theadjuster didn’t personally inspect, the adjuster had two roofers inspect the roof on two separate occasions to gettheir opinion of the damagesIt was determined that the damage to the roof was related to a seam that opened upin the roofing systemThey indicated that this is due to natural deteriorationPhotos were taken that substantiatethe findings of the roofers.On September 6th, 2016, the adjuster submitted a report to our office and it was reviewed and a denial letter wasdrafted for approvalMr*** spoke to Mr*** on September 23rd, and advised that there was nocoverage for the damagesAfter Mr*** communicated his concerns, the loss was re-inspected by adifferent independent adjuster and it was discovered the roof had already been replacedOn October 4th, 2016, adenial letter was mailed to insured advising no coverage for this loss.At Rockingham Group, we take complaints by our policyholders very seriouslyWe strive to settle every claim ina fair and equitable manner, and we feel that we have done so with this loss.Please feel free to contact me to discuss any concerns you have regarding this response.Respectfully,*** ***Senior Property AdjusterRockingham Group*** *** * ***

I am rejecting this response because:I called more than once to discuss the problem, was told each time that they would "look into it" and call me back. I never received a response or a returned phone call, so in refuting the response, the employees did not work closely to resolve the issue. I was put off multiple times until I was forced to pay with added late fees in order to keep it from going to collections. I was given the run around multiple times and still have. It gotten a call back or response from any of the times I have called.
