99¢ Plus Store

Review: On Friday January 10, 2014, I went to Bargain Master (99 Plus Store) to purchase some goods. I purchased three items and the total amount was $6.23. When I arrived home, I checked the receipt and I discovered that they overcharged me by adding one dollar to my bill. On Tuesday January 14, 2014, I returned to the store and found the same cashier. First, I greeted her but she did not greet me back. I asked her about why she added one dollar to my bill and she replied: "Who me?" I told her that it was she. She said; "Why you just came now?" I told her that because I was busy. She stated that they add one dollar if the transaction is less than ten dollars. I told her that she did not tell me that ahead of time before that transaction. She stated that they have sign and she did not need to tell me that. There was a small sign near the cashier station but I could barely see the sign because it was folded and old. She was very rude and unprofessional with me. She raised her voice at me and became very defensive. This is an unethical and unfair business practice.Desired Settlement: They need to refund the amount of one dollar they added to my transaction, and to apologize about their rude and unprofessional attitude.
