Packing([redacted])& Moving ([redacted]):First, they were an hour late arriving for the move1.Was told we even bring our own supplies but was charged $70 for packing material.2.Called [redacted], at 9:17 to express concerns two of the employees may have been drinking and smelled of alcohol. He told me he would shoot up there to check on things. He never arrived. I smelled alcohol again in the afternoon.3.Was told, by the movers, I would have to pay cash for moving services because my belongings were being moved into storage.4.My personal items marked with permanent marker on the items themselves to designate storage, garage, RV.5.No items were shrink wrapped as promised. 6.I discovered an open jug of tea that had been in a black trash bag. Also, in the garage one of my sodas was missing. When asked, one of the movers nodded his head indicating it was him. I consider that stealing.7.Took movers about 35 minutes to drive 4.5 miles to storage facility because they stopped to get a drink, time I paid for.8.Called the [redacted] several times during the day to express concerns the packing and moving services were unacceptable, careless, destructive and unprofessional.9.Items moved to storage that were designated as 'do not move-for RV'.10.Two people witnessed the behavior of the movers while at storage facility and asked if movers were under the influence or been drinking.11.The storage unit was so poorly packed not all of my belongings would fit inside. We repacked it the next day, even adding 3 pickup loads.12.The main two things I asked were ignored. a)all red storage bins be put at front of storage unit, as they contained our clothes. They ended up at the back of the storage unit. b)To not pack anything on shelves designated for the RV. The RV tub(s) are in the storage unit and must be in the back of the unit as I was not able to locate them near the front.I sent A-1 Advanced Moving and Storage an email with a few of these concerns on Wednesday, [redacted] at 2:22 pm. After no response, I called [redacted] on Friday, [redacted] at 4:47 pm to discuss the concerns. He immediately became angry and wanted to break it down item by item. He stated that he sent his best crew and he was offended by my concerns of alcohol and thats why he didnt shoot up there to check on the situation. He also stated that he may not have a 4 year degree but my email was asinine and made it appear I didnt have one either. Within 7 minutes he discontinued the phone call by hanging up on me. I called back at 4:55 and stated nothing would be solved by hanging up on me. Without saying a word he hung up again. No other communication with A-1 Advanced Moving and Storage has taken place since.
