A-1 Affordable Seamless Gutters

Review: I contacted A1 in the beginning of May 2014 from [redacted] to give me an estimate for some gutter work and replacement, [redacted] representing A1 came out to look at the work and sent me an estimate of $1,037.90 which included wood fascia boards of $440.00 to build out the cove molding so the gutter would be installed properly, this work was not done and the $440.00 was deducted from the estimate, [redacted] said that it would work with out it. On 6-2-14 [redacted] came out to collect a $500.00 deposit but did not start any work, after phone calls he finally came out on June 20,2014 to the work, he asked for an additional $237.90 I gave him $238.00 in cash. 4 or 5 days later we had heavy rains and the gutters were leaking and the water was collecting at the low point and not draining and over flowing. I call and told the problem he said he would be out to take care of the problems. Two weeks later he cam out to reseal the joints but did not re-pitch the gutter. after more rain the gutters were still leaking, I called again had to leave voice mails at this point. I received a call form [redacted] on 7-20-14 at 10:10 am he said he would be out that afternoon to fix the problem, he never showed up or called. I sent an email to A1 and said that if the problem isn't fixed by 7-31-14 that I would hire someone else and send the bill. I hired some one on 8-18-14 to fix all the issues with the gutters this cost was $200.00 they said the wrong sealant was used that's why it continued to leak, they re-pitched the gutters and re-sealed. I haven't had a problem sinceDesired Settlement: The total cost from A1 Affordable Seamless Gutter LLC was $738.00 for a complete job that would work, it did not. some of that cost should be returned for not completing the job plus the $200.00 it cost to fix the problems.

Review: I had new seamless gutters and downspouts installed on 8/26/13. The workmanship warranty is 10years. I paid $2,000 for the gutter, downspouts and installation of new fascia boards ( I purchased the fascia boards). The price was $1512 for the gutters/downspouts and $500 for the installation of the facia boards. I have called this company twice since the installation and explained all the corners are leaking. The came out and explained that I needed additional flashing which I paid another $175.00 the first time. Problem still existed and they were called again. They came out and said they repaired the issue. They did not. I still have leaky gutters in all of the mitred corners. Some of the corners are coming apart. I had the previous gutters for 29 years with no leaks. I sent an email with pictures on January 25, 2015 to [redacted] at ###-###-####. I have not had any response.Desired Settlement: I would like to have these gutters repaired so that they do not leak. If that is not possible, I would like to go on recors and have my $1512.00 returned for faulty installation and unable to meet the terms of the contract. Unacceptable workmanship.

I have spoken to [redacted] 4/ 15/15 and I told him I will be back to take care of the leaks he has , we just need to wait for nice worm and dry day to fix the leaking and more likely its going to be this coming week.PS : He didn't know during winter time January to april we shout down the Business ,apparently he was sending me text throw my cell phone which was out of commission during this period. but if he would of called my business line definitely someone would of respond to him.
