A-1 Agency Real Estate Reviews (3)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I know even if I reject it I am not going to receive any better of a response from this lady.  She needs to take responsibility for her actions which she is not nor will she ever.  She will continue to tell half truths and pass the blame off on other people.  I just hope she realizes now there are people out there that will not sit by and do nothing when she is less than ethical in her business dealings.  I want make sure it is understood she did try to get me and my husband to rent no matter what her "apology" letter says.  Which her "apology" letter is more like an excuse and pass the blame letter then an "apology" letter.

June 26, 2014
Dear Mr. & Mrs. [redacted];
I received a letter from the Revdex.com regarding a complaint filed 6/21/2014. I want to respond to said complaint and hope this will clarify any misunderstandings. I showed Mr. [redacted] two houses on June 7, 2014. I explained to Mr. [redacted] that the home was occupied by one of the three daughters of [redacted] but that she would be moving out soon and would speed up the process if we had a an offer on the property. I do not recall saying Mrs. [redacted] was in a nursing home as she lived with her daughter in Gillette until her death 11/14/2013. On June 9th I provided the key to Homeplace Realty to show the house to both Mr. & Mrs. [redacted]. I was not aware that the [redacted]s were wor[redacted] with another agency. I received a verbal offer by [redacted]/Homeplace Realty from the [redacted]s and I spoke to the daughters/ Della Noldner, who was my contact for this property, about the offer and she accepted it verbally. During our conversation I mentioned the need of an affidavit of survivorship in order to execute the sale and she did not have one. I had assumed she had completed the probate process but she had been misinformed or misunderstood information given by someone at the courthouse as to the need for a probate. I instructed Mrs. Noldner to contact her local attorney at once and begin the process and I spoke to the attorney's secretary as to whether the judge could sign off on this summary probate soon to meet the [redacted]s closing date of 7/28/2014 prior to sending the accepted written offer back to Homeplace Realty. The attorney filed the probate and called me with the date the judge would sign off placing the property into the heirs name and said date coincided with closing on time. It is standard practice to inform all parties of all pertinent information including probate proceeding which is why I included an addendum to the contract for buyer signature. Your were perfectly free to rescind your offer at that time. I would not have sent the signed offer without a counter offer extending closing date had I thought we could not meet the contract closing date.
In response to the statement that I had discouraged Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] from buying a house I must respond that such practice would certainly be counter productive to my sole profession as a real estate broker to sell property. I personally do not own nor do I manage any rental properties. A-1 Agency does not own or manage any rental properties.
I hope this helps to clarify what has transpired and I am sorry if you were under the impression that the sellers were unable to provide clear title with in the time frame of your offer to purchase. If I thought that was an issue I would have called your real estate agent as soon as I learned that the sellers did not complete the required summery probate but because this particular probate required very little time to complete and all dates were workable, I simply sent an addendum to inform as such. If you have any further questions regarding this matter please don't hesitate to call me at ###-###-####.
Sincerely,
[redacted]/A-1 Agency
