This issue is with the management company and not A-1. We provide a notice that is approved by the management company and the properties board of directors. Its only obvious that you can't have anything bolted through the roof and have the roof warrantied. We gave notice to everyone at the property....
Mr [redacted] did call me and used so many vulgarities in addressing me and the property manager that I had to terminate the call several times. That is why we never got anywhere. All he had to do was call the DISH company and have them move the dish 2 feet away, they do it all the time. His dish is in the exact same place it was before we started roofing and we never laid it down. All he has to do is have DISH come out a align it, we are not trained to do so.His issue is with his BOD and the management company, not A-1.
If it were in my means to adjust the DISH and have it work, I would. The only way to address and solve the issue is to have the provider come out and point it at the right satellite.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.A 1 All American Roofing Co caused the DIRECTV satellite dish to be out of alignment. This was done against the instructions of myself and of the H.O.A. SHE Manages Properties.
Review: I am an owner of a condo. in an HOA situation. In May 2013 I put up a satellite dish with verbal approval from a manager at the Management Co. Approx. a week later I received a letter stating that the installation was incorrect and that damage had been done to the roof. There was an invoice included for $474.00 in repairs. A-1 All American Roofing Co. proposed, completed and were paid for the repair and the check cashed 20 June 2013.
Recently I was notified by the HOA Management Co. that the roof was to be replaced. I was not notified specifically with regards to the satellite dish. On 25 of Sep. 15 I was informed by A1- All American Roofing Co. that my dish would be taken down on Monday 28 Sep. 15 and that I would have to arrange for it to be put back up. In addition to this I was informed that the installation was incorrect and the roof was damaged. This by the same A-1 All American Roofing Co. that had performed repairs to the roof in June 2013.
I complained to the Management Co. and the immediate resolution was that the dish would not be touched on 28 Sep. 15 and that we'd work together on a resolution. Yet on Monday 28 Sep. 15 A-1 All American Roofing Co. pulled my dish down and / or moved it and now there is no satellite service. This was specifically done after my having not provided authorization for the move and exactly the opposite of what APSM owner Steve Howe advised would occur. That the dish would not be touched.Desired Settlement: satellite dish to be put back on the roof and service restored ASAP
