Horrible experience dealing with this company trying to get my dishwasher fixed. They forgot to order the first part, so when I got back from vacation to check in, it took another week and a half for the part to come in. Of course the part did not work, so they placed an order for another part. I called every other day to ensure the part was order and was told by each time that they were still waiting. After two weeks, I called to verify with my home warranty company that the order had actually been placed, which it had not. When I called to follow-up with A-1, they had no idea that the first part did not work and that there should have been a new one on order. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!

Review: On September 23, [redacted] referred a repair to the display on our [redacted] refrigerator (model #[redacted]) to A1-1 Appliance Sales & Service. As A1 never bothered to call us to set up the appointment as indicated by [redacted], we finally called them on September 28. They would not give us a time when they would cone out and attempt the repair, only a date. When they arrived, they did not have the proper repair part in hand. They said they would order the part and come back. Again, we did not hear from them and after several repeated calls with none returned, I finally got through to them and they scheduled the repair for October 7. It was obvious the technician had trouble installing the new display as he was "bashing" the new display in place. After they left we discovered the display was not reset properly to the correct temperatures and the wanter dispenser did not work properly. I called them the next day and complained. They seemed aware of the problem already and assured me they would order another display and come out to replace it as soon as they got it. A couple of weeks went buy and we heard nothing, so I called them again. The woman told me they were still waiting for the part. The next week I called again and she said the part would be in the next day and she would call me. We never heard from them. A week later I called yet again and she said she would send an email to [redacted] and call me back that afternoon. They never called. I subsequently attempted several more calls, but only received a voice mail and my calls were never returned. My last call to them was on September 11 for a total of at least 6 calls from the time we found the part them initially installed was inoperative. I believe they are no longer in the Glen Allen location, but somewhere in Lenexa, VA, according to what they mentioned. Their phone number is [redacted]. We have since contacted [redacted] and they refered the repair to another repair contractor.Desired Settlement: These people have no business being in business. They are incomptent and unprofessional. Their licence to practice appliance repair should be revoked.

Waited over a month for a new ice maker, was told it would take two weeks to come in. Waited three weeks and called a1 back and stated it hasn't come in due to the holidays called back a week later and was told the part was on back order!! After calling the company the freezer was purchased from that afternoon a1 called and stated the part was in. Very unhappy with the service from a1.

Review: I ordered a Refrigerator Door handle on 08/12/2014, I would call and inquire about the part that was ordered, I was told twice they would call when it arrived, On phone call number 3 they told me they were moving and could not locate the part, I called on October 13,2014, I spoke with them and asked for a refund of $88.97 if they did not want to sell me the Door Handle, The lady told me she would check with her supplier and call me right back, it is now10/21/2014 still she has not returned my phone call or refunded my money that was required by A-1 Appliance before the part would be ordered.Desired Settlement: Money returned and a apology
