Tell us why here...Well I'm sorry you feel this way that I have no compassion and no customer matters the fact of the matter is your father received a transmission that we overhauled and that is in good working condition I'm not quite sure how that refers to not caring about a customer or having no
compassionYou asked me to send you a refund but you have not even brought back the transmissionYou came to us wanting a transmission that work we provided you with one that we thought would but there was a difference so we took the two and made a good oneLike I said it has a full day warranty if you were still not satisfied with the one you received bring it back and we will get you another one a completely different oneAlso like I said if you install that transmission and it doesn't work bring the vehicle to us we will remove the transmission replace it with a different one and you'll be on the road again with a full day warrantyI'm not completely sure why you want a refundYou came to us wanting a transmission that work because you had a transmission that did not work in turn we gave you a transmission that does workAnd like I say if it doesn't bring the vehicle to usThank you

I am rejecting this response because:The owner truly does not understand. 1st- The transmission was worked on without my fathers permission2nd- My brother and father noticed that the part where it leaked was still there3rd- My brother did not see any replacement parts, everything was still the same, why did they spray painted the casing gray?4th- trips to the business to speak with the staff was not a good turn out- no recheck on transmission or refund was talked about5th- my dad didn't get a transmission, the one he has doesn't look right and we explained this to the owner6th- a staff told my dad about an additional $ add on fee - we're not sure what this was about"

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Good afternoon, I went over the owners email and asked my father. He will accept the response by the owner; however, due to a family death and tomorrow is thefuneral ( 5/13/2016). He would like to bring the transmission back on Saturday the 14th. He requested the owner be on site and greatly appreciates the refund even though its not the full amount of 479.00. He only wishes that it could have worked out.  Thank-you, [redacted]-[redacted]

Sorry to hear you are so unhappy and that you fell we took advantage of you but we did not! you have never installed the transmission to see if it works. There for I do not see how we took advantage of you and additional charges I have never spoke of additional charges. I stated that if the transmission does not work bring your vehicle to us and we will fix it for free!!!!!!but seeing how this is going no where I will offer a refund minus 25% like it is stated on our terms and conditions #4but please hurry it is almost over 15 days as stated on #19 no refunds after 15 daysyou must return the transmission in the same condition it left our shop in with the original receipt and you will be refunded $359.66.thanks jason
