Review: I took my truck in to have the motor fixed in January of 2016. He got a motor from a company in [redacted]. I paid half up front and the other half when my truck was done. [redacted] the owner at A1 automotive said the truck was warranty under him for labor and the motor was 6 month warranty as well and because the company didn't get the motor to him in the time they said the motor place told him they would cover at their expense what ever labor we needed for the motor since the motor was having issues.

The motor had issues I took it back and [redacted] fixed it. It again had more issues and I took it back last week on Friday April 1st 2016 and he said to leave it and he would take care of it Monday and I'd have it back by the end of the day which was April 4th. I called yesterday and left a message with one of his mechanical guys and I never heard aback from tim. I called today April 5th 2016 and spoke with the Receptionist and she wanted my number and name , I explained to her I own the red ford and my names [redacted]. I gave the guy yesterday who took the message my number and [redacted] never called me back. I told her my number was on the paper work. We hung up . I called back moments later and gave her my cell cause I realized maybe it wasn't on the papers.[redacted] called me back and said, " how dare I speak to his wife like that and to come get my damn truck of his yard!" . He hung up on me before I could say anything. My son and I showed up at A1 automotive and I explained I was videotaping the whole conversation. I explained my truck was under warranty by his company and that's the agreement and I apologize to his wife if I had come across rude. He told me to get out of his office and I stepped back as he came at me and I was feeling threatened. I continued to record and told him it isn't right and if something happend while driving it was on him knowing it was the motor. I explained I'd be forced to take him to court and call the Revdex.com as well. He said here's your keys seen u in courtDesired Settlement: I have a warranty under this company with my truck for 24 months or 24,000 on labor . I have paid this guy [redacted] and he said my truck is under warranty with ONLY him and his company . I took my truck for the 2nd time of having motor problems . I'd like the job finished due to the warranty or my money back so I can go to another mechanic. The company of where he got the motor is only covering him to fix it. So I can't go anywhere else. I paid full cash. I am now having to look and pay more

Review: I brought my vehicle to A1 Auto to get a transmission. Not only did it take them over three months to get me my vehicle back but I also had to raise my bid to hurry up the process because it had been so long. Now I find out that the only way to start my vehicle is to put it in neutral and my transmission slips while I am driving. Also there is a loud rattle that was not there before I put it in the shop.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund so I am able to take it to a new shop and get my vehicle fix correctly.

Review: year: 2000 Make: VW Model: Golf GTI vr6Took my car in to A1 Auto repair to get a diagnoses and was told a pipe for my cooling system needed to be fixed on Thursday April 30th 2015. It was leaking coolant. They told me that during their pressure test the pipe ruptured and needed replacing and that it would be done the next day. The next day, Friday, I called and they told me that in the process of taking my intake off, the mechanic ripped out and broke 4 of the 6 fuel injectors and that they would have that part by Monday, May 4th. I called on Monday only to find out that the part wasn't in yet. Then Tuesday the part came in and they told me it'd be done by the end of the day or Wednesday in the morning. I called again on Wednesday and was told the same thing again, that it'd be done the next day because they were having trouble fixing the pipe. I needed my car by Friday so on Thursday, May 7th, I went to pick up my car just so I could get to a job interview as they told me they fit a pipe on but it was still leaking coolant just as before. I planned on taking it elsewhere as I have had better luck at other shops. The mechanic then told me he couldn't give me the car key back until I had paid $327. I asked him why, as they hadn't actually fixed anything. He proceeded to tell me that they couldn't afford to eat the cost of the injectors they replaced without some compensation. The injectors that they had broken and told me would be replaced at their expense on Friday.Desired Settlement: I want my refund of 326.86 dollars that I paid for a part that the mechanic broke.
