Wednesday, 9-10-14, I went to get individual lashes applied by [redacted] (owner). This day, eyelash hours are provided between 9:00am.-8:00pm. I arrived between 6:20pm and 6:45pm. Of course, I had already prepaid for the service on 8-29-14. By prepaying, if I come in at any given time which services are being provided, no matter how long another customer has been waiting, I will be the next customer to be served. The only way I won't be served is if someone has prepaid before me, then they will be next to get served. I have been going to get my lashes applied here for almost a year. [redacted] already had someone in his chair once I arrived. He was almost done applying her lashes. I noticed there was another customer waiting. The cashier alerted her that I had already prepaid, and I would be next. She told the cashier that she didn't think it was fair that she was there before me, and because I had prepaid that I go ahead of her. Once [redacted] finished with the customer, the lady complained that it wasn't fair that I go ahead of her. There is a huge sign hanging near the cash register regarding his policies. The cashier asked me did I want to prepay for my next visit. Suddenly, I notice this lady was sitting in the chair waiting on [redacted]. I asked [redacted] had she prepaid. He said "no once she sat in the chair, he couldn't ask her to get up. So me and the lady exchange words with profanity. [redacted] didn't say anything. Once I saw that [redacted] was going against his own policy, and abusing his authority as an owner, I asked to be reimbursed. [redacted] is Asian, and I have known Asians to be loyal and law abiding citizens. [redacted] proved me wrong. I feel that [redacted] shouldn't be prepaid up front if he is not going to abide by his own rules and show partiality. I have sent coworkers and entreprenuers to him. He should take his sign down, and revise it stating 1st come,1st serve. If he don't he is getting money up front without the intention of treating the customers fairly. I refuse to patronize a business that has unfair practicesProduct_Or_Service: 8-29-2014Desired SettlementI just want the complaint to go on file making consumers aware of how he does businessBusiness Response Miss [redacted] has been our regular customer for quite some time and she should know that something like this has never happened before and normally does not happen. We strive to be as fair as possible in treating every customer with the same respect. However, as much as we try sometimes mistakes are going to happen. Yes, Miss [redacted] is right she was supposed to go ahead of the other customer, but I happenened to call the other customer by mistake because I did not notice Miss [redacted] in time and the other customer had an agressive personality and had no intention of getting up. It was an akward situation and next I knew they were exchanging harsh words. I did not want to make the situation worse than what it was so I just had to stay quiet. It was my mistake but it was an honest one not intentional. I know I can't turn the clock back but I would like to make it up to her by offering her a complimentary VIP service at no charge and no waiting next time she comes in.
