address.  Since this occurred, both the customer and I  received what is called a pre-lien notification.  When we received this, we called our Supplier and we immediately looked into it and discovered what had occurred.  The customer did contact us asking what was going on and we explained it to them and advised the customer that the bill would be paid by a certain date.
We noticed on our account that the payment had not been processed on that date, so we called our supplier unfortunately, the date we committed to paying it happened to land on a Holiday.  The particular person that processes our payments was not only off that Holiday date, but also took an additional day off, thus delaying the payment by an additional day.  After they arrived for work that morning, our Supplier immediately processed the payment and like they always do, emailed us a receipt.  We did provide our customer with this proof of payment, a release signed from our Supplier and an email from them confirming and reassuring them that everything had been taken care of.    
In May, we will be in business for 16 years and this is the first time this has happened and we understand the customer's concern, but we did everything in our power to resolve it.

My complaint to Revdex.com was made BEFORE final resolution was received from both A1 Budget Roofing and their supplier's proof of payment.  A1 Budget Roofing was the VICTIM of unusual circumstances with their supplier who acted unilaterally to file the pre-lien notice.  In fact A1 Budget Roofing had apparently paid their supplier for materials on my project, but that supplier had erroneously credited that payment to another project.  [redacted] at A1 Budget Roofing upon discovering the error and holiday-delayed receipt of their "second" payment for my project materials acted honestly, forthrightly and promptly to let me know the resolution status with their supplier.  As frightening as it was to receive a potential lien notice on my home it turned out not to be the fault of A1 Budget Roofing and they acted with courteous, prompt action to resolve the issue with their supplier's mistake.  If anything I am even more confident of the integrity, reliability and forthrightness of A1 Budget Roofing's courteous concern for, and treatment of, their customers.  I will have no hesitation using them in the future and will be recommending [redacted] Apodaca and his company to others.

The above limited drop down menu does not include my problem. Here is the issue;

On or about Nov 13, 2013 I paid A1 Budget Roofing of Vista, Ca., $7,800.00 for re-roof work done the previous week at [redacted]. in accordance with their contract and invoice date Nov 12, 2013. On Dec 18, 2013 I received a Preliminary Notice to File Lien from [redacted] in [redacted] for the unpaid amount owing to them from A1 budget Roofing in the amount of $2.700.00. A1 Budget Roofing did not pay their supplier for the materials on my roof project. Unless A1 Budget Roofing pays their supplier by Feb 15, 2014 RWC Building Products will lien my house even though I paid the full amount of my project per contract with A1 Budget Roofing. Albert Apodaca the owner tells me repeatedly by phone that he will pay his supplier, [redacted], but has failed to do so.

A major factor in my choice of A1 Budget Roofing was their A+ rating and 0 complaints with Revdex.com. This has turned out to be a major mistake apparently!
