To whom I may concern: Revdex.com/ [redacted] Friday at 5:27pm eastern time, I called [redacted] and spoke for about minsI will explain to you as the way I explained to her.She purchased the engine through our online store and her claim must go through the processes of the online storeShe sent her complaintFor this plant because the product came from usThe online store purchased the engine from me to sell to herThe process for issues withproduct are to go through the route that you purchased it from [redacted] said she tried that and was told there is nothing we can do(she was misinformed) unless the engine was installed and that resulted to her filling a complaintThe only store she could figure tocomplain against was the plant that sent out the part with tags on it telling her it came from Lake City Florida I gave [redacted] the names of the managers of the online storeI emailed those parties and explained , one of them needs to call here ASAP.One of the managers emailed me back while on the phone with [redacted] and said he would call her Monday to rectify the issue..I assure you that this is not how we do businessThis issue should not have even been an issue [redacted] has my direct line as well as theonline managers direct line and emailShe was very understanding about how our processes are to handle her concern and would give us until the first part of this week to handle.She made me aware that she would be unavailable on Monday and Tuesday but we may speak with her husband [redacted] LKQ North Florida 1137Plant Manager###-###-####

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me provided the online locating service that contacted me today keeps their word; honoring the vendor LKQ's warranty as describedI was informed there would be a refund today, and I find that acceptable.hopefully the locator service will more careful to uphold LKQ standards as was explained to me; it is unfortunate I had to take the steps I did; however I was told these people would get retrained, and this should have never occurred.I thank the gentleman that contacted me to get this resolved; he was very professional, and assured me this will be handled; provided there are no further issues on this topic I find that Revdex.com may check this resolved, and restore LKQ its rating as deserved

Company's response below & attached.*** I misspoke earlier about the resolution of this caseWe did not refund the customer we sent them a replacementAttached are the invoices and the inspection notes from our warranty departmentThis customer did not follow proper
installationfor this used auto partThis caused the transmission to fail You will read they even took it to the local *** dealer. The replacement part was sent on 03-16-16.There are processes in place to help a customer when they have issues with our productThese process do take a little time to complete.I have included every piece to this transactionThe warranty department suggested we deny the claim.After we determined the customer failed to install correctly we (local plant) still under good faith to a customer agreed to send them a replacement.The replacement is on invoice# ***, which was a more expensive one then what they purchased.Please let me know if I can answer any questions. *** *** *** *** ***
