Review: Services rendered to remove debris (tree) from chimney on June 24 2013. On September 9, 2013, an attempt was made to communicate with company in regards to the recurrence of dedris (tree) in the chimney. Around the 1st or 2nd week of October 2013, I went to the job & saw that the work that I previously done was ok, but there was something growing out of the side of the chimney. The office was closed. That same week, I called & spoke to the receptionist. I explained to her the details of what needed to be done, and that this job would be cheaper since they already had a cap on the chimney. She said she would speak to the doctor and get back to me. A week or so later, I received a nasty letter stating that they had already paid, and wanted me to fix the job for nothing. I am no longer interested in working for these people.

A-1 Chimney Service's response is at best inaccurate with complete negligence in making any attempt to communicate their position with us.

Our chief complaint was the growth of a tree twig, approximately 4 feet tail on top of the chimney evident from the ground level. We had no means to inspect or evaluate it except to rely on a competent chimney service.

They main reason A1 Chimney Service was hired was to permanently remove and to prevent any future growth by eliminating conditions for vegetation growth on top of the chimney. At the completion of the job we were assured that it is all taken care of and we had no choice but to rely on A-l Chimney Service's integrity and promise.

Obviously they failed to do so, and after only a few months a new growth was evident from the ground level. At that time we made numerous calls followed by regular mail and then followed by registered mail, all documented and available in case of legal action. There was no response from A-l Chimney Service at any time to a point that we thought they were out of business.

Our office is in the same town, [redacted], and open most of the week. Due to the nature of our profession serving patients and the community, we have redundant means that anyone can contact us immediately. Any claims by A-1 Chimney Service for not being able to contact us are false. Furthermore, the roof and chimney had been accessible 24/7 to remedy problems if there was any good will on the part of A-l Chimney Service.
