non delivery of service. still have not recieved $1,000 refund on deposit, never speak to same person twice,tell one thing to me,another to my husband
0n Feb 17,2014, Guardian Services came to inspect a fireplace at one of our properties. Tyler Murphy, diagnosed the fireplace as unsafe to burn and wrote we needed $3250 in rework to make fireplace safe and usable. a new crew arrived on March 3,2014 to do the rework. while there it began raining and the insulation material got soaking wet. when I questioned the workers about installing in the rain, the two men said they were not supposed to install insulation or seal the joints in the rain. They said they were going to get something to eat and left leaving a stainless steel flex liner behind.(not installed-laying on the ground) My husband and I both spoke to the management and schedulers to try to have them return. we were given different dates and times and still they have not returned. My husband finally was transferred to someone who was supposed to be the manager. He ask for a full refund because of non-delivery of services and for loss of confidence. We are still awaiting a refund. We have recently had a masonary contactor out to inspect the fireplace and he assured us there was no safety issues with the fireplace and said the only advise he would give us was to replace the damper. We have order a damper ourselfs. I believe this company is defrauding people and telling they need goods or services they do not need. Two of our neighbors said they basically wrote up the same analysis of their fireplaces. I do not believe that is a coincidence, but calculated fraud.
