Allen Edmonds reached out to the customer today, Friday, January 6, 2017.? Our Manager of Recrafting, Sandy [redacted] ? spoke with Mr [redacted] and confirmed we would accept the valid Cobbler's Club card for his recraft order.? Mr [redacted] will be dropping his shoes off at our Port Washington store.? Sandy sent Mr [redacted] an email with the details and he appeared to be satisfied with the outcome.? Mr [redacted] responded to our email with:"Hi Sandy-Thanks so much for your call this afternoonI appreciate your quick folland solution to the problemBest, Mark"

Hello - We were in contact with the customer last week on 4/19. He was told we would replace the footwear and an order has been placed in our system for the new footwear.

Dear Bradley Colmerauer, I spoke with Mr*** on Tuesday, June 19, I did express my apologies for the cancellation of his orderAgain, I extended the 40% off, but Mr*** declinedI advised that, unfortunately, we are not able to offer an additional discountMr*** expressed his disappointment in the lack of communication since it took a week for Allen Edmonds to inform him of his order cancellationMr*** was advised his complaint/concerns were forwarded to the appropriate partiesAlso, advised his 40% discount will still be available in the event he should change his mind Please let me know if you need additional information Michelle *** *** *** *** * ***

The Dalton boot mentioned in Mr***’s complaint was briefly listed at an incorrect price of $on Sunday, May 27th, We quickly corrected the error on our website to reflect the Father’s Day Sale price of $that is advertised in our print catalogsWe do have a
responsibility to our craftsman and regret that we were unable to fulfill orders placed during the oversightAs apology for the disappointment that Mr*** and others experienced, we provided an offer for 40% off a future purchase of regular priced merchandise on AllenEdmonds.comA copy of the offer message is attached for your reference. In a further effort to resolve Mr***’s concern, we reached out via telephone on Friday, June 8th We were unable to connect, but will attempt to follow up with him again to fully resolve his concerns

I received a response from the company through the Revdex.com websiteIn a nutshell they said I was out of luck and they were not going to honor the price that was advertisedThey have refunded my CC. I guess all of this was for nothingthanks

Mr*** - You are correct. We did charge you TX Sales Tax. I do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Allen Edmonds values you as a loyal customer. We can only become better if things like this are brought to our attention. I am personally looking into why you were charged TX Sales Tax. I know you were refunded the incorrect sales tax. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Per my conversations and review of the notes with our *** ** *** ***, the shoes were worn, we did agree to a one time return of the worn footwear and provided a pre-paid UPS label to have the pairs of shoes returned to us. We did place an internal order for replacement shoes on 7/and they were shipped direct to the customer. Per the tracking of the replacement order, the replacement shoes were delivered to the customer on 7/25/17. I believe we have helped this customer with his request. tax in Maryland and it is 6%.? You did place an order on our website and it shipped to Maryland so you would have to pay the 6% state taxI believe there is some confusion as you mentioned Texas taxIf you went into a store in Texas and purchased something you would be paying Texas tax not Maryland’s.? When you have something shipped to you the tax charged would be the state where you are shipping the item to? With all this being said I will go ahead and refund you the $that was charged to you We do apologize for any confusion this has brought to you and please let us know how we can be of further assistance to you?
