I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
It was last left that we agreed that John would send us a check for $50. So I just assumed "the check was in the mail". We have not received this check

Revdex.com spoke to John at business and the following was relayed: I did a lot of extra workWhen I left the customer shook my hand and said that we were all goodHe was happy that I had returnedThe roof he is talking about is for a small screened in entrance wayThere is a hole in it above the area of the work that I did, it is not related to the rafters I built and installed or the shingles that I put downIt is from the overhang and there is a hole that I offered to plug and tarI explained that this was not something I normally do and he was aware at the time that it slowed the leak considerably but not entirely and that it was not guaranteed to holdI also did lots of other stuff over the days of labor I providedLots of the work was dangerous, I purchased a lot of material, and I worked hard to make the customer happyI put drip edge all around the house and garage, I rebuilt an entire soffitt along the rights side of the garage, and put end caps on the gutters as he requestedI did not drill a hole in the gutter or put a hood/vent in for a fan as he requested as the roof is not in good condition to do soThe customer needs a gutter company to address the soffitt and gutter issue for the leaking

I still am trying to get ahold of Mike, the reason this didn't get done is because I can't get his tenants to stop smoking while I work in there, I'm allergic to cigarette smoke and last time is there, they chain smoked, I developed a lung infection and have a permanent spot on my left lung, I would
rather do other work for Mike or give cash

and metal for which I was not equipped to doI offered to stop at that point or I could remove the tile for $and they could hire someone else to finishHer husband said to remove the tile for $I was there for most of the day, not or hours and I had to purchase tools and bits to remove the tileI am willing to resolve the matter by offering to refund the customer $in good faith

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I spoke to the company owner on December 27, 2017.  He agreed to purchase a new vanity top and install it properly.  However, he would like to wait until the weather is warm so he can open a window while he works at the property.  I am fine with that, but I do not feel this case should be considered closed until the work is actually completed, which may be months away.

the contractor returned to try and repair the work, the roof still leaks and the down spout was not installled, he did not do any extra work, I determined that this was just going through the motions and I decided it was a waste of time. I will hire another contractor to finish the work.
