A-1 Cool Heat

Review: On or around Dec. 15 our Frigidaire refrigerator stopped functioning properly and never got cold. Went to [redacted] to look for a recommended service person in our area. We contacted the nearest name - A1. The man came promptly, said he needed to order part, this took several days, put part in (in took 5 hours) and charged us $300.00. He promptly cashed the check on Dec. 27. On or about Jan. 15, the refrigerator starting to have same issues - it will not stay cold. It is now Feb. 12, and the service person has not showed up to fix his first repair. He has been called numerous times (at least 10) and sometimes he answers. Most times he doesn't. He will say he will be here to fix problem, but has never shown up. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. I have now been without a fridge for almost a month. I did let [redacted] consumer service know of my extreme dissatisfaction. They also said they tried to contact this service person and there was no response. They offered me 10% discount on any new parts.Desired Settlement: At this point, we just want a refund for his time. We will need to contact another service person to come fix the problem this guy caused. This is not an acceptable way to conduct business and he should not be allowed to be able to advertise on the [redacted] website.
