hired [redacted] on 08/25/2011 to replace my AC unit--an upgrade from a 3 ton to a 4 ton heat pump, replace drain pan, relay in indoor unit, and patch leaks in duct work. Total fee was $3300...with a deposit of $2300 cashiers check. The installation was completed on 08/30/2011 and payment of $1000 was paid. However, on the 10 year warranty form, [redacted] informed me that he would need to contact me with the name of his A/C friend whom he purchased the unit from the next day and he did not call. I waited 2 days to call and requested the purchasers name in order for me to send in the warranty form...he has not returned my call as of 09/20/2011.
What has infuriated me is I now have sustained additional water damage stains and damage in my home from his negligence, and sloppy work. I must pay someone else to repair his mess! I want [redacted] Estrada to pay for the corrective work charges I have incurred!
On Friday, Sept 9th, I noticed a water stain in my office ceiling. Since we had not had any rain, I knew this water stain was the result of his work. I have called [redacted] so many times I have lost count. The water stain began to leak water and my ceiling peices began to fall. Therefore, I call another home repair person I know on Sept 15th [redacted] to come and inspect where this water leak was coming from. [redacted] informed me that the drain pan was overflowing and tilted back away from the drain pipes...the water could not flow out at all and was overflowing into my attic and other rooms. [redacted] informed me that the drain pan was installed incorrectly, straps used to anchor the drain pan had broken which held the pan up, the pipes are in the wrong position--I am unable to close the attic door, and [redacted] had used a board to prop the drain pan back in order to close the attic door. I did notice that [redacted] had to go back into the attic to make adjustments to close the attic door...with me not knowing what he actually did to close the attic door. This really has upset me!
I am a business owner myself and I know all about good customer service and the importance of returning telephone calls.
