I am rejecting this response because:I made a purchase of aHonda Hybrid because it was a hybrid. When the purchase of my hybrid was made, both the “certified technician” and the owner assured us that the battery hadbeen checked and was good. In good faith, we trusted that fact to be true.Three days after driving the car from the lot, the engine light turned on towhich I took the vehicle to Maita Honda in Citrus Heights, CA and learned thatthe hybrid battery needed to be replaced. I promptly returned to LanciaAutomobiles with the diagnostic data proving that the battery needed to bereplaced at $3000 for a vehicle which had a sticker price of $4500. When it wasbrought up that a diagnostic by his "certified technician" was notdone as stated, the owner ([redacted]) conveniently stated that the“certified technician” had been fired the day prior. He did not explain why hehad been let go but after the fact of purchase, it continued to not leave anyvote of confidence about the owner’s business practices and integrity, andquestioned the level of "expertise" of employees. I believe that hada diagnostic been done as stated, I wouldn’t be in this position, and those atMaita Honda agreed.  [redacted]’ (owner)unwillingness to correct or even take ownership of this situation, again leadsme to believe that he had prior knowledge of the state of the car or at leastthe likelihood of this issue. Had I been provided with a complete picture ofthis vehicle to make an informed decision with, a complaint to the Revdex.com wouldnot have been needed.  Attempts to rectifythe issue continued to which his answers became inconsistent, asking me formore money each time we spoke. At first he asked for 3 days to do some“research” which led us to believe that he was considering replacing the hybridbattery and had made derogatory remarks about how the Honda dealer marks up theprices excessively.  When we arrived back at the dealership for the thirdtime, he said nothing at all about replacing the battery (I assumed that helearned that in fact the hybrid battery was as expensive as quoted from theHonda dealership). Then he offered to sell me a warranty, after the fact, butconveniently told the Revdex.com that he “offered to buy the warranty”; this was neverstated to me that day. An offer of his “profit”, which he claims was only $350,was followed up with him stating that he would buy back the car for a %15restocking fee initially, then it turned into me needing to pay an additional$500 plus %15 restocking fee, which apparently has increased to %20 restockingfee in his response to Revdex.com.  All of this can beconfirmed by the email string in which [redacted] and my boyfriend went back andforth as he was attempting to assist me in this situation. The owner has not once seemedreasonable or willing to work with us to compromise on a reasonable solution. After spending time, effort and money all in hopes of havinga reliable and environmentally friendly vehicle, I am left with one that hasonly left me and my children more burdened and disappointed assuming I, as afemale consumer, would be easy to take advantage of.

Lancia Automobiles is not responsible for repaying any debt between client and the bank. Dealer reimburse the downpayment to client and signed the cancelled contract. If client wishes to go after the bank and purse reimbursement from bank for three months of payments and work client did to the car,...

it is client choice to do so, Lancia Automobiles has nothing to do with this.

When the car was sold, buyer was offered to purchase contract cancellation option to which she declined. At the time of purchase it was stated very clear that this is AS IS car with out any warranty or any cooling of period, and buyer was offered to purchase warranty to which buyer declined. Buyer...

also had the opportunity to take the car for inspection but buyer never did that. I personally drove this car for over 150 miles, battery was holding charge very good, and that's what I said to the buyer that it seems like battery was previously replaced because it was holding charge very good for this year and miles on the car. Car currently had 170,xxx miles at time of purchase. Before buying the car, buyer test drove the car, car was driving great, no lights were on, passed smog, everything was great. As a dealer, I need to make sure that car passes safety inspection (smog) and in driving condition, all this was done to the car, all the options I have for the buyer at the time of purchase was declined. When the buyer came back to the office, I offered to buy warranty or i'll take the car back for 20% restocking fees, that option was declined. At this point I don't have any options for the buyer and I can't take a car back.Thank you[redacted]
