below.We received the garage remote Monday, August 22nd, and were told by MrCrawford that a certified check had been mailed the previous weekHowever, we advised him no check had been received. He stated he would investigate and call us later in the weekHe called Thursday, August 25th, stating the check was mailed to another house number address on our street, which does not existHe called again and we agreed that the mail should have been returned to them by now. He stated he would track the check. He confirmed he would track the check itself, not the envelope in which it was mailedAs of 8/26/no check has been received and based on previous experience, we are skepticala check was mailedWe've heard a multitude of excuses since May

In the first conversation with Mr***, the conversation was about getting him a bid for termite treatment( subterranean and dry ***d termites)At that point he gave instructions on how to gain access to his propertyMr*** was never called saying we could not get into the backyard. Mr***
was called and given a verbal estimate on what A-Exterminators would charge for the treatment of termitesAt that point he said " ok, can you send me a report with everything you just told me?" the inspector wanted to tell Mr***, if you're not going to have us do the job, then don't make me go thru all the paperworkWith each inspection report, we have to send a fee to the Structural Pest Control Boardknowing he had all these other bids from other companiesA-Exterminators bid was not the cheapest and was not the most expensive either, but was a fair price.A-Exterminators does not charge for "estimates", but does charge for limited termite inspection reports, which are $we believe Mr*** was confused as he had four (4) other companies he was dealing with also.This seems like a misunderstanding on both partiesHowever, to be fair to Mr***, and as he stated, "he assumed A-exterminators would do the inspection for free"We would be willing to refund Mr*** half of the $

Review: I had a termite problem at a property. I had inspections performed by [redacted], and areawide exterminators to compare costs. I knew I had both types of termites from these inspections and needed both fumigation and injection of pesticide. I called A-1 exterminators Lodi to get another estimate. I asked for an estimate and told them I had already had the property inspected by several other companies. I even sent them the reports from the other companies. The person I spoke to said he would have to do his own inspection before giving me an estimate. He came out and did the inspection. The report only had the cost of the fumigation. I called to ask about the injection in the foundation cost. The inspector said as he could not get into the backyard he could not give me an estimate on the injection. I saw from his initial report that the fumigation cost would be higher than the other estimates so I figured that any injection costs would also be. A week later, I get an inspection report by mail with a fee of $75. All the other companies I contacted did the inspection for free. It was partly my fault for assuming that A-1 would do the inspection for free. But I was never told that the inspection would have a fee either. In the report generated there was a fee for fumigation, injection, and inspection. Called the company 3 times but received no callbacks in 5 days. Finally called the Stockton office, told them I was not told of any fee for inspection prior to inspector coming out. Office said cannot reduce fee or cancel fee. I paid them otherwise they would have sent me to collections. Very bad business practice to not inform of fee upfront.Desired Settlement: I would like $75 inspection fee refunded as it was not disclosed to me prior to the inspection. If I had been aware of the fee, I would not have asked for the inspection since I already had estimates from 4 other companies who did not charge anything for the inspection

Billed for service that was not done. Not given proof of service and told I had to pay or be sent to collections.

1st service done but sprayed only, no webs taken down. Tech said he didnt have time because he was filling in. He asked for full payment. After I complained a 2nd tech was sent out and completed job. 2nd service not done to our knowledge. Told them at start that we needed advance notice because of dogs. No call or invoice left. We have 2 large dogs and beware of dog sign on fence. Tech still claims he sprayed front and back yard. Was billed & told to pay or be sent to collections. No other explanation given.
