Had a front door rear view mirror replaced Appraiser was efficient and gave me the estimate Paid for the price of the mirror for them to order it Was called the next day and advised the mirror was in Booked to take my car in the following morning at 8: When I dropped the car off, was asked if I was going to wait I said they could call me when it was finished At 2:p.mI had not heard from them so called to find out the status Was told that it hadn't gone to the paint bay yet I said I wasn't aware there should be painting as it was only for a black mirror Was told they would call me back Waited another minsand called back again After being put on hold again they said the car was out front Good Went to pick the car up and pay the balance and am now informed the price of the mirror has increased by 50% Receptionist said prices can change overnight I asked why they didn't have the courtesy to advise me of the change in price when they told me the mirror had come in During my conversation with the receptionist, the appraiser indicated that the original price was correct as quoted Am not sure the point of getting quotes if prices can be changed by such an exorbitant amount without any notification
