I was told by Barbie if I provided documents showing the diagnosis and remedy so she could have it on file so that nothing may come back on her company I would receive full refund of $1,due to miscommunication about getting on a schedule to have me heat source converted to LP. I have reached out to Home Warranty Inc and they stated they are a third party and only have verbal opinions from all three companiesThey have no supporting documents that say A-diagnosis is right or wrong, and only have written notes confirming *** *** *** *** as well as *** *** *** *** claim it was due to a cracked heat exchangerThey both claim no issued with chimneyI am currently heating my home with the remaining fuel oil and tank, but a new furnace venting out existing chimneyI only have a receipt from *** *** *** *** to verify he was at the home he has not provided me with a letter as to the diagnosisAs for *** * *** ** *** *** *** *** *** being licensed I asked prior to install and he claims that he is

We were contacted by Mrs*** on January 17th she had stated that the furnace was throwing out a ton on black soot, and that the filters were being changed oftenMrs*** stated that the walls were covered with black soot as well! I had a technician out the same day who confirmed the
house had a collapsed chimney, and we recommended having chimney liner replacedWe arrived on January 22nd to clean chimney and place new liner, however after a few hours our technician was not able to clear chimney enough for a new liner, at this time customer was gave the option of a new furnace vented out the wall of homeAfter speaking to both customer and her husband on the 23rd, 24th, and again on 25th also speaking to home warranty company on 24th, 26th, 29th and again on the 31stThe home warranty company agreed with our company that the chimney liner would cause the soot on the walls of the house, and was extremely concerned that the other people coming to customers home were not licensed through the state to do heating and coolingI have spoke to customer regarding refund and have specifically said a refund of $would be refunded since we had technicians at the home for many hours , and once chimney liner is taken out of package it is non-refundable

we will give Refund of $1,we are not able to return chimney liner!

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. However this is not the first time the company has stated they would issue me a check. I just want to state this in case I do not recirec stated reimbursement.
