*** purchased materials for plumbing issues I am talking about contracted issues which was roof and deck I am sure he problaly has another leak that house is in need of much more repair than what I did and the problem is *** doesn't have the money so I walked into a mess I told him his ceiling was coming apart from rafters he said just leave it do the best you can I have no more money.*** bought a big old house with a lot of problems not my fault

I am very surprised by this complaint I contracted with [redacted] to repair leak on roof and repair deck ,told him I would take a look at plumbing leak. which we fixed told him there might be more problems , he said he had no more money , I understood that , he is a young man who bought his first home and...

there are a lot of problems that were hidden from him . he should be very upset but not at me I am just the one that uncovered what the seller hid from him. I was trying to give him the best deal , I didn't even make him honor the signed contract for the outside work which bt law I could have but I don't operate like that , Iam a very easy person to deal with ,been doing this 35 years and have a great reputation . its not fair to blame me I told him ther was a lot of other problems kitchen ceiling is not even attached to studs because they got wet . but I am very sorry ken feels this way.

Review: I asked the business owner to provide a quote for a repair of a leak in the ceiling of my 1st floor tenant. The business quoted $750 dollars for this repair, however, did not place the quote on his sheet. The business did not provide me a copy of his quote. I was at work and came home to see how things were going. he took apart the ceiling (just a 3 foot by 4 foot cutout of the ceiling) and said minimum 3,000 dollars and tried to change another quote from 2,500 to 6,000. I canceled the 2nd repair because the price was crazy. the business tried to strongarm me into completing the repair because I couldn't leave the ceiling open when I have obligations to the tenant. The business required that I purchase ALL required materials myself.. I traveled to [redacted] and purchased everything he asked for, including scrapers and rags, totaling $750. I wrote and he cashed two checks. one for $1250, and another for $1700. This job was commissioned in early November. The job was supposed to be conducted on November 17th. After several days of delays, the contractor told me everything would be done tomorrow (November 21st) by his employees and he would not be back. some compound had to dry before the painting and his employees would finish everything the following morning. He asked me to write the 2nd check because he wouldn't be back and the employees were going to finish the job. No employees showed up. I contacted him several times over the phone and he provided excuses about being sick, which shouldn't have mattered because his employees were supposed to finish, not him. after over 2 weeks of delays and excuses, my tenant informed me someone had finally showed up to paint the ceiling. the problem was, there were things in the upstairs apartment such as sealing the new vanity and putting the edging on it which the contractor could not and would not do because he did not have a heat source? I am 100% sick and tired of this man trying to force me to do his job for him and purchase all of his tools. if he is a business, he SHOULD HAVE EQUIPMENT. he is forceful and argumentative and tries to cheat you and lie to get money. furthermore, my tenant informed me that although the ceiling was indeed opened, the insulation that was wet was never removed or replaced. FURTHERMORE, only a few weeks after this job was "complete", my 1st floor tenant had another leak in that ceiling( Same location ). he rushed to grab a bucket to catch the water and got a half a bucket filled with water. the ceiling where he taped it is already cracked, and the leak was never repaired. all this man did was take my money and run. i'm not sure what he did other than halfway build a new vanity which I paid for. I never want to see him again. I don't trust him to complete the job. I feel like if I ever let him into my home again, he would create more damage out of spite. I want my money back so I can hire someone to actually complete the job. I shouldn't have to throw away almost 4,000 dollars for NOTHING. i'm broke. i'm concerned. I can't believe this happened to me.Desired Settlement: The business has a responsibility to give the customer an ACCURATE and reasonable quote range for the services provided. The business has a responsibility to treat the customer with respect. The business has a responsibility to complete all work at a satisfactory level. The business has a responsibility to stop lying and cheating just to get a one-time paycheck.

I want my money back. he took my money and didn't do his job. I don't trust him near my home. I want to hire someone else to complete the job. I wouldn't even need the cash in my pocket. the Revdex.com could even send the money to another contractor who would complete the job! i'm not trying to get my money back for me, i'm trying to get the job completed. ANYONE BUT HIM!!!!!!!
