A-1 Landscaping

A-1 installed our sprinkler system in October of 2012, with a one-year guarantee. We were able to use it for a couple weeks until the Kennewick irrigation water was shut off for the season. In April, 2013, irrigation resumed and we soon had problems with the smaller sprinklers clogging up. In early May we left a message with [redacted], the owner; he does not answer phone calls, nor does he have anyone else do that. At least a week later, when he showed up at our house, he said, "This is not covered under your warranty." He did clean them out, and told us, as he had before, how to clean out all the filters. Within a few days we had the same problem, so we called again. He finally came, and said, "As I told you, you have to clean these out." Of course, we had been cleaning them out, and the cleaning really didn't help. My last call to him, more than a month ago, was to ask if he needed to replace these small sprinklers with larger ones, and, of course, we have not heard from him. Employees from a larger, more well-known landscaping company have told us that these sprinklers should not be clogging up. A second problem is that some of these sprinklers are not watering as far as [redacted] had said they would, to the property line. His answer: "They did when they were installed."A third problem: one sprinkler continues to run a small amount, and makes a rather continuous puddle after the sprinkling cycle in completed, and even on days the system does not operate. His answer: "That's because it is at the end of the line." He talks down to us, the sprinkler system is still not working satisfactorily, he does not answer phone calls, and his service has been bad.
