To whom it may concern,We were 2.5 hours late arriving at the Bridgeford's.  The previous job did take longer than expected which is why we were late.  We arrived at their home that is 2,845 square foot.  Typically a job that size can take between 9-11 hours.  Mrs. [redacted]...

sent a picture after 2.5 hours of loading and the truck was almost half full, which is typical.  When we arrived at the storage they had only reserved one unit for them to store their furniture in and it already had some things in it so the movers had to take extra precaution so that everything would fit in the storage that was to small.  We filled our 26ft. truck that has a 4ft attic, making 30 ft of truck that was packed full, then proceeded to unload into their storage unit.  We filled that unit and the Bridgefords did not have another storage space for the rest of their belongings.  Therefore we were finished with that portion of their move.  Our scheduled was full over the next few days and we were unable to accommodate the rest of Bridgefords move.  We honestly feel it  took the amount of time it should have and what they really are upset about is us not being able to come back the next day and finish which doesn't merit a refund.

I am responding to Mr. [redacted] message. On the contrary, we did have a second storage unit lined up as a precaution per [redacted]'s request. I had asked him on three seperate times if we needed confirm the second storage unit because the front office closes at 1830. He repeatedly told me, he and [redacted] could get it all in one. At the half way point when the truck was being loaded I did ask him if we needed it. I did call my storage unit after the walk through with [redacted] and set one up. I spoke to [redacted] at [redacted] and I can provide phone records with all the time stamps to prove that. In regards to the comment about the job that typically takes 9-11 hours to do, April quoted to my wife it would be about 4 hours if we had everything packed up and ready. More so if I prestaged all the items from upstares (which I did). If it typically takes 9-11 hours, then why would you send just TWO movers (one driver and one actualy mover) to move a 2845 sq ft home alone? Why would you send them 2.5 hours late (the time we were told was around noon and later changed it to a noon to 2pm window which would be 4.5 hours late) and expect them to beable to get into the storage unit at 11pm? Regardless of the previous job being a bigger job than anticipated, you could have did everyone a courtesy of calling and letting us know that was the case or give us the option to cancel or find someone else that could have done it. We scheduled everything around the time table April gave us and we had to cancel a cleaning service that required a deposit and well as travel accomidations the next day. I did rent a u-haul on my own the next day and completed the second half of the house in 4 hours. I did send April picture of what they left and it was all the big furnature in the major rooms with no response. My wife sent pictures during the loading, so there was no question that we were there and saw what was going on. We are not asking for a full refund, we are asking for a partial refund since your company could not finish the contract of moving my entire house as orginally agreed on. Yes, we are upset that you didn't come back the next day to finish the job. Who wouldn't be? Not coming back the next day prevented us from leaving on our scheduled vacation on time and caused us to arrange different travel accomidations as I previously told to [redacted] before the job started and my wife telling April when we hired you. We ask that you be fair and take responsibility for your workers actions and inability to finish the job they were hired to do.
