I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
His offer to make that repair will not solve the problem as I am sure it will juts return next winterI had that concrete pad removed and repoured to resolve the heaving situation that had occurred previouslyHis job did not solve the problem and actually had made it worse because at one point the rear door was not usable as the heave made it impossible to open the doorThe sidewalk heave and settling has damaged the foundation wall which I have sent you pictures ofHis response of stating that he informed me of the concrete with the fiber was correct but the material did not last months before it had heaved and cracked and therefore it was not used in the correct situation. After consulting with another masonry contractor the, only way to correct this situation is to remove and repack the area then repour using reinforced ( rebar/wire mesh) concrete to at least in

Revdex.com spoke to Ron at business and the following was relayed: There were two jobs we were contracted for; basement waterproofing and tearing out and re-pouring a concrete slabThe majority of the job was the basement waterproofing, approximately 70%I asked the homeowner if there were any pipes that
I would have to work around and was told "Nothing on side of house to impede digging." First day on job I hit a pipe and had to navigate around the pipe the entire length of the houseWhen it came time to remove the concrete slab we were under the impression it was a standard concrete thicknessIt turned out to be 12" thick and it took an extra days in labor and rentals over what was estimated and charged forThis winter we had a very bad winter with the frost line going deeper than usualI went out and looked at the slab this springIt had heaved and I offered to saw cut, remove the section of concrete and re-pourHe mentioned another hairline crack, which I had not noticed or seenThe issues are weather related and he wants the entire slab removed and re-pouredThe slab is approximately 30% of the value of the contract and he is asking form more than the price he paidI am still willing to uphold my original offer of saw-cutting the slab where it heaved and removing that section and re-pouring

sent me a pic of a stone she cleaned with I believe some tupe of chemical. She wanted it re done. It did not look likr thst when I finished the job. I was willing to fix it for cost but she wanted me to fo it for free. I went way above and beyond for her. Unfortunately in business you run into one that uou cannot please no matter what. She is a very demanding and unbearable customer.

Revdex.com spoke to Ron at business and the following was relayed: We use the fiber mesh concrete which requires no rebar or wire mesh. This was pointed out to the consumer at the time concrete was poured. The job was done correctly, the slab is between 4-6", crushed down underneath and stamped as we dug down 4 feet to get below the frost line and backfilled with the crush stone and tamped. The business offer for repair remains.

Yes, what I demand is that when I pay for a job it's done well. He admitted to me the first time that he did a terrible job. Yes, I paid him because I thought he would make good on it. The stone in question was cleaned, like the rest of them, with soap and water, which I told him. So he lied. Not surprised. If I used some chemical why are not the other stones affected? He is just not an honorable person and I hope by reading what I wrote people think twice about hiring him. He talks a good game!!!!!
